Hello !
That was a fight I was waiting for for a long time ! And it was clearly difficult for me to pick a side, to rule only for one, because they're both amazing characters. For me, it would be a real exciting combat and each one could learn from it. But I was amazed by how brave Ochaco was, she made plans which were so clever, the fact she didn't want to give up, and I was glad that Bakugo knew she would be a strong opponent, that he didn't underestimate her.
They got me twice during this episode. With that flashback Ochaco had when she felt like she failed her family by losing, and when she called her dad saying how sorry she was and all. A daughter talking to her father about making her family proud… You know me, I cried. But in one second, I went beyond mad : Endhover, approaching Dekku like that, like to warn him, impress him, fear him ? MAD.

Oh, you're right, I didn't notice it for the names and nicknames, the difference that Bakugo makes. Thanks for telling me 😊 I will pay attention for the next episodes, to see which character he considers or not.

2023-06-12 21:15:57 +0000 UTCA couple of my favorite things about this episode you may not have noticed: Bakugo never remembers his classmates names unless they impress him, at the beginning of the fight for example he calls her "round face" with an expression as though he is looking down on her. At the end of the fight though he calls her Uraraka and even looks excited to fight her. I'm also glad you caught the line from him "What part of her was frail" I think you sort of noticed, but if you watch the animation carefully, you can see that how bakugo created such a big explosion was to ignite the sweat across his entire hand and arm, hurting himself in the process. You can see the small explosions ripple across his arm, and you can see his arm smoking and him suffering from the damage he caused himself afterward. Uraraka wasn't the only one who left the arena injured.
