EXTENDED REACTION PART +23MIN, ONE MONTH OF ADVANCE, ONE VIDEO, NO ADDS

LINK : https://e1.pcloud.link/publink/show?code=XZrifbZQ5VCr7ABf0z91dXUvM0qib2ELU37

Hello !

I'm pretty sure you would have never thought I would react to this movie (and you're right) but it's what can happen with this new formula I have this year, with one of you guys subscribing to that new option to ask me to react to one particular movie. And I love that idea ! Because here, clearly I'm never gonna watch this movie again, but it was a funny one to discover. Yes, it was stupid, but it's that kind of movie that you can't take seriously, because they're not taking themselves seriously. So just put your brain somewhere else and enjoy the thing !

Like I said in the review, I think that this type of humor worked on me because I was used to that kind of jokes when I was a kid, and also because I watched other movies like that, like Austin Powers and all. So here, it worked on me, I laughed a lot, even if some situations were really too much, that's okay, it's expected with a movie like that !

I'm still french, so I'm still sorry if my english hurts you.

Very entertaining reaction! Because I was the one who requested a reaction to this admittedly strange and bizarre movie, I figure I probably owe you a bit of background information as to why the movie is like that lol. The director and writer of the movie, as well as the person who plays George Newman, is popularly named Weird Al Yankovic (that's literally the name he goes by in public). He has made a career since the 1980s of writing and performing song parodies (changing the lyrics to a song to make it funny), with the original artist's blessing. Some classic examples are Eat It (parody of Beat It by Michael Jackson), Living With A Hernia (parody of Living in America by James Brown), and Smells Like Nirvana (parody of Smells Like Teen Spirit by Nirvana). If you haven't heard of him, I highly recommend looking a few of his songs up on YouTube - they're lots of fun. Anyway, UHF is basically one and a half hours of Weird Al doing that, but with movies and TV shows.
