I knew it would happen, I knew I would cry… It doesn't mean that it doesn't hurt. Like hell. Even if they were not in hell. Yes, I'm trying to make jokes because I just can't talk about this final scene. Like I couldn't talk during the moment because my throat was tight and I was crying too much. Hearing Pan fighting for Lyra to stay with him, when she knew since a long time he couldn't come (and that's why she asked that question to her Death about him, "will he understand ?"), seeing these two being so hurt… It hurt.

All of the rest of the episode being about Marisa was cool, but you know I'm not a fan of her character. For sure, I would have preferred to spend more time with Mary, even more because I have the impression she would be more advanced in her own journey. Even more because Mrs Coulter's attitude, with these funny lines, is making me spend good time with her, when I just want her to disappear. Yes, she loves Lyra and I won't deny her that, but she loved her badly, with violence, physical and psychological. I want her to succeed with the only thing she's good at : trying to protect her from the Magisterium.
