Hello !
We didn't spend this episode with our Rick and Morty, and still I found that story really important for the rest of the show. Because I'm pretty sure now that the Morty who took control of the Citadel is Evil Morty and we still don't know a lot about him, his Rick. I had that impression in review that I could connect him with my theory around our Rick's backstory (he left his reality because his real family died and joined the reality we know in which their Rick disappeared), but no, it's not working.
Still, I think Evil Morty grew up without his Rick : our Morty knows the difference between right and wrong because he judges that what Rick does is bad. Without a Rick, a Morty has a lot of chance to evolve badly (like into this Morty town here), so maybe even more here with Evil Morty because his Evil Rick disappeared and did something really bad ? Just a theory. But I think it's gonna be important for the show. Evil Morty, who he is truly, his Rick etc.

Because it is nearly infinite, the worlds that are very much alike have no real significant differences between them and therefore one could argue that they are all equivalent. To me this means that they are all as important, they are all equally important and furthermore they are "all real." Other people believe differently I can see that. But I think the show is making a case that all realities are valid. If they are all valid, they are all real. They are all real and thus they are all equivalent in importance. This has implications but those who understand it differently they will differ in believed implications, for example they will think that one Summer or another Beth is more important than another one. Yes it's true but also it isn't true. I believe the deeper realization is that they are all equally important. In fact when you devalue one you kinda sort-of devalue many more if not all of them. If Rick has traveled the infinite worlds he will have an understanding that is likely different from others who have not traveled the same roads... It's not that a different view is not valid it's just that there is more to it than that.
