Hello !

I took some time to understand the situation here : these bad versions of Rick and Morty are not their Evil side, in fact they are representing what these two think are the toxic things about them. So it means Rick believes that him being so rude and arrogant is toxic, and that Morty knows that being sometimes lame is not good at all. Rick and Morty have one thing in common : they both think that caring about people, loving them and placing them above everything, it's toxic. It's not right at all, but that's what they think.

I loved at first that they both agree on the fact they need vacations and that going on these adventures is too much for them, and hurts their mental health also. But at the end of this entire psychological journey, I'm not sure that they learnt stuff from them : they go back in adventures like it was nothing. Or we can notice that again, the writers made an entire episode about confronting these characters to their bad sides and that they can act blind about it, but it happened, and they know it.
