Hello !
I began this OVA being like "cool, we're gonna have new informations about Annie and her background, or we're gonna discover more about her, how she's functioning". And in fact… this mission, about finding that girl, why not, and it's Annie who wants to succeed in her mission, like always, and maybe who actually cares about people inside ? But except for that, the little flashback with her dad was the repetition of something we know.
Even the fact that she wants to think about something else than her "mission of tomorrow", it could be interesting : she's haunted by Marco's death, she has to repeat to herself that it's her mission, her destiny etc. But it's really light in comparison to what the girl did and does. Or it's the confirmation of how cold she is, how brainwashed she was. See, confirmations, but no new things.
