That's it, I cried for this show. For Freydis : she passes a test to be a shield-maiden, she succeeds, I'm proud of her and I'm already high with the emotions, and then the girl promises to protect Kattegat. For sure, I was gonna cry. I loved the fact that Harald admired her during that moment, and was impressed. All of the things around the lucky bracelet were sweet, and they are sweet together. But I had some doubts about that ship : I love them, but Freydis is so connected to the Vikings Gods, so to be with a christian Viking… And I don't even talk about when her brother is gonna convert.
That was an episode for the ships in fact, because we also had the relationship between Canute and Emma evolving little by little. Again, because they respect each other, and work together. But the consequences of this one are gonna be way heavier : that Queen of Denmark, she's not gonna appreciate being left behind, clearly, and with Olaf who wants to take advantage of that…
