Hello !
I could talk about the fact that we just met Zuko's daughter, that she has the same chin as him, and that if I can't have a Zuko/Iroh reunion, I want to have the three generations of Zuko, his daughter and his grandson. But I prefer to mention the lesson of that episode, that Korra learnt with Zaheer : you can't forget your past and traumatizing experiences, but you have to accept it, to stop fighting it, so it's gonna be a part of you and make you stronger.
The fact that Zaheer finally taught something to Korra, like he always wanted, because he still wants what is best for people, so clearly, not Kuvira ruling. The fact that Bolin reconciled with his brother and Korra, and said "I love you" to Opal. The fact that we're gonna have a rescue mission to save Su's family. Guys, we're close to the end of this season, of this entire show, and I've never been so optimistic.

I think that it's a lesson of life we all learn at some time. Everyone has traumas, bagages, and you can choose how you're gonna be impacted by them. Letting them direct your life, being sad or reproducing them again and again, or to not be controlled by them. It took me a long time to learn it, but it was so worth it ๐

2022-08-27 08:44:09 +0000 UTCI love the scene where Korra is breaking through her trauma & simultaneously through to the spirit world โค Trauma will usually accompany us for our whole life.. We can't forget what happened, sometimes we may be able to forgive, but we can absolutely learn to not be controlled by it anymore ๐โค This scene fits so well with Iroh's quote as well: "While it is always best to believe in one's self, a little help from others can be a great blessing". ๐ญ (in real life the help would probably come from a therapist or friends/family, not from the abuser - but it works in the show!)
