#SexDungeon23: Room 007

SMALL BEDCHAMBER (FIGHT: IMBUED WHORE)

Another small side chamber with opulent red cushions piled up against the far wall to make a bed.  A very attractive young woman is lounging seductively on the cushions.  She is naked aside from exotic jewellery.  On seeing you enter, she smiles and gets up to greet you.

Dungeons are risk and reward when it comes to exploring.  Some rooms have a monster inside.  This fightfuck is optional.  If defeated she'll have some treasure, but not really enough to justify the fight.

One idea I was toying with is to have the demon-controlled areas of Ur-Carnosa flip the usual sex work paradigm.  Instead of paying with coin, the player is paying with life energy, which in turn means that the sex demons can pay the player in coin for that energy.  This could be some kind of demon tradition – if satisfied sexually, they are obligated to reward with gold.  That would be a nice way to have the usual game mechanics of 'slaying and looting' fit within the world.  It again depends on what the combat mechanics are.

It's tricky for sure. Easiest would be to ignore it altogether and just treat it as "you defeated X, here's Y gold coins" as in most RPGs. I like to get clever and try to incorporate the game mechanics in a way that makes sense. If the battle mechanics were straight battlefuck (with the player being able to 'fight' because the succubus companion gave them something that enabled them to at the start - as happens in other battlefuck games), I could see it maybe working in a demon whore city. Whichever one is reduced to a quivering masses of pleasure has to pay. Normally humans pay up front and the (non-lethal) demons use their skills to reduce them to quivering masses of pleasure. If a human were to get the ability to battlefuck back, then they'd be the ones getting the coins after winning. (And it would be a fun WTF moment the first time it happened). It would only apply if the mechanics went down the battlefuck path.

I think this wouldn't work from a logical point of view or.. it would feel wrong from a players perspective. Usually the trade works like this: Prey receives Pleasure Demon receives Lifeforce That's the established rule. But if the demon now gives us money on top of the pleasure.. it feels off because there's no reason for it. I'm currently trying to think of a way to integrate some reward for giving up life energy.. maybe.. at the start of the game the player receives a device that records your body vitals / records what happens around and with you and whenever you fall victim to a demon, someone.. who yearns for this information.. gives you a reward for playing the labrat to gather infos x3 My point is that imo it has to be some secondary reward.
