Update 21st Feb '21
Added 2021-02-21 23:16:03 +0000 UTCEverything is still looking good. February has a nasty habit of ending sooner than you realise, so I put new harlot scenario writing on hold to make sure I wouldn't have a last minute panic trying to get the last couple of harlots done. I'm well on top of that as you'll see.
I wrote the descriptions and added 15 new charms. These are primarily defensive. You'll be able to buy them from The Buxom Lolibaba, but they won't do anything yet as the harlot abilities they're designed to counter haven't been written yet. This brings the total number of available charms up to 36 with 3 still requiring implementation.
I finished typing up Slug Girl, implemented and tested her. She now has a name - Veronicella.
I also typed up Asphya, implemented and tested her (her scenario is relatively short).
Rubber Ball Synthetic harlot now has a name - Pêl-O sugn. She's typed up. I'll be editing her scenario tomorrow and will hopefully have her implemented and tested by Wednesday.
This means version 0.016 is close to ready.
I could put that out as soon as Pêl-O sugn is done, but what I want to do is push closer to the end of February and see if I can get those 3 remaining charms done. Version 0.016 will likely drop Friday/Saturday next week with whatever is stable.
As always, many thanks for your interest and support.

They're mostly puns in other languages and tweaked to sound like a woman's name. As I'm using dodgy google translate there's also the scope for them to go wrong and inadvertently mean something else, which is probably also funny for the people that actually know the language and can laugh at me being an idiot (as happened with Sapoonis's original name :D ). I have ideas for what criteria the NPCs will use for their scenes. It will likely be mixed with other factors, but I'll want to keep the primary one for the idea I have. Some harlots will definitely be negating or ignoring charms that would otherwise counter their abilities. One of the debates I'm still having is whether to make the protective charms override stat checks on lower-level harlots. Originally, I wasn't, but I suspect I should as it wouldn't make sense for a weak harlot to kill a player with roughly the same technique that the charm protects from with a stronger harlot. (It means I have to go back and tweak some of the existing scenarios, but I have to do this anyway - more on that in March!

2021-02-22 18:22:25 +0000 UTCYou know what would be interesting? A post about how you come up with some of the names. Pêl-O sugn? :D Or Comedentia... Though I think I know how you created that name. Probably from latin - comedens: To eat or to consume Besides that, I think the whole buff system will be nice. Makes it a little bit more engaging to survive the boss encounters. Oh and in the case of Nurse Honeys scenario: Would be funny if you go in fully buffed with food, flask, oil and what not (WoW reference) and she just takes away all of that :D
