Your Vote, Your Story

As I get closer to completing the twenty-chapter backlog of advanced chapters for "Of Blood and Duty"—having decided to temporarily limit the backlog of "Metamorphosis" to ten chapters due to the complexity of the plot and the difficulties I am facing executing it—I am faced with a critical question, the answer to which I believe is best left to you guys, the esteemed individuals funding this hobby of mine.

What next?

Although some of you might be unhappy with me temporarily diverting my attention from your favourites(OBD), I want to remind you that I cannot keep up the quality you have come to like at the current pace I am churning chapters out. Days of pondering, drafting and schizophrenic pacing are required to even get out a workable, coherent and enjoyable plot. Converting that vague plot into a chain of chapters takes another few days. Editing those chapters in turn takes several hours to perfect.

In short, I need the occasional break to rethink what I have been doing and decide on what to do next. Hence, now that I am about to fulfil my personal goal of upping the backlog I need something else to occupy myself for the meantime.

Once I release the twentieth chapter for OBD's backlog and resume a more reasonable and less mentally taxing upload schedule of two to three chapters a week for each fic(OBD & NFF), my schedule will be freed up to begin working on the backlog for the third major fic to add to this catalogue.

This undertaking will see another fifteen to twenty advanced chapters added. To ensure my time and effort are invested in a project my audience actually wants, I will be referring directly to the results of this poll which ends on 11/02/2024 at 01:01 AM WAT. You would be allowed multiple choice to increase the chances you get something you actually want. Separate posts detailing the options available to you will be posted after this, so you can refer to them for context.
