News Update 31(More Plans)

Hey all, how’s it been?

For me it hasn’t been too bad, just trekking along slow and steady. Restoring my lost files is manageable, and fortunately I don’t need too many of them for this update so all things consideres, progress is going rather smoothly.

Now, as sort of a continuation of a post I made a couple of weeks back I’m gonna talk about some more plans I have for the future.
You may remember me saying that I want all side routes wrapped up by 0.95 and that’s still the plan. 0.95 itself will also be an update with a loop, allowing you to wrap up any loose ends you weren’t able to get through up to that point.

But what comes after that you ask?

Two more updates 0.99 and 1.0. Both very story heavy and will likely take quite a while for me to produce. They will also lock you out of all side route content once you begin them. 0.99 will have an event for each sideroute you have completed, so if you want to see them, make sure you’ve done them all. 1.0 will have no side route  content at all, instead I’ll be adding additional scenes and dialogue choices to the whole game, beginning through end, that unlock only if you’ve progressed far enough into a specific sideroute, or made specific choices. Believe it or not I’ve set a bunch of flags for many of the more innocuous choices just in case and I’d like to use them to give you players a more involved experience, with choices that do at least something at some point, and 1.0 is when I plan to make that happen, both in previous parts of the story and towards the end.

And yeah, that’s the current roadmap. I don’t think there’s much more to say. Will the game end after v1.0? Who knows, don’t ask. 1.0 is what I’m working towards at the moment, what I’m focusing all my efforts on, That’s enough for now.
