agree. total war series would be great. long live steve

I've been watching the drops with some disbelief and amusement as dud after dud was pulled. "Legendary Death Claw Can Opener, +5% melee damage vs Legendary or Glowing DeathClaws if used left handed" <thinks> F*** that...

Ian Stobie

I think you should collaborate with TotalBiscuit. Brit overload.

Mike McMahan

Oh my god I soooo agree with you and the notes on the pipboy. Now you pick a new holotape and you have to remember the bloody name in order to hear it... I've gone through countless times I've had to cycle through several holotapes to get to the new one.

Jon, you have no idea how annoying the minutemen are for me. I can't go into sanctuary now without Preston moaning at me because of a choice in the end game, then giving me a quest to help a settlement (these have a time limit as well so you can fail if you don't help). If that doesn't happen, I have a random settler telling me they have random problem. These also sometimes have no canonical sense, such as a ghoul only settlement having problems with feral ghouls threatening to attack their settlement, when it's canon that ferals don't care about normal ghouls. I also find it annoying when helping a settlement I already own. I report to Preston, get moaned at, get a quest, then tell them they've agreed to join our cause... when they already have

Advance Wars 1 & 2 areboth great. Dual Strike is pretty good. Days if Ruin is the worst thing. THE WORST THING.

When she's calm and relaxed and feels safe, she's extremely affectionate. But she does still get spooked by loud noises, and I suspect she always will.

As another Metal Gear hater, I'd like to say I was pleasantly surprised by MGSV. It is the first MG I played since MGS2, and while the story is still dumb, convoluted, and Kojima just can't say he wants boobs, but the gameplay itself was A-OK. Yes, the story is not really finished, but if you like sneaking around somewhat like in Splinter Cell (but not that professionally), it is a good game.

nagi

I reckon at least some of the testing will be livestreamed

Many A True Nerd

I must say I would love if you would livestream your yolo testrun(s). Could also become kind of a crowdeffort where you would say what you want to try and others would help with it so you would have more than one test done for additional confirmation/optimization. I also absolutely love behind the scenes stuff so that would fit right into my favourites:)

Martin

Oh heckkk yes! Just Cause 2 MP mod is probably the most bonkers thing I have ever played!

Brooks Andersen

Forgot to get my question in before your filmed, how's tabby doing? Is she getting a bit more comfortable and settled?

Amy Mo

I totally agree with you about Metal Gear, Jon.

Beatlejuice64

Oh my god Jon, I can't believe you played Advance Wars series. It is heartbreaking that they stopped making those games.

Tyler Moran

Shoot, sorry for the extra post, but I hit the wrong button. I wanted to say that if you do any sort of 'classical' themed game, like Rome: Total War, PLEASE continue your commentary on what is historically accurate and inaccurate in the game. That really made my days!

Erin Trickett

I feel like the best/most appropriate cooking thing you could make is a sweet roll ;)

Erin Trickett

Thank you too, Jon. All the way from Australia

Keagan Wyatt

Don't worry, there are some pretty fun guns coming on your way, some even in main missions. BTW, go find that big old ship stuck on building, it's pretty fun place.

Orfiel

On the contrary, I have had some awful drops, as you'll see as the series goes on.

Many A True Nerd

Doo doo doo isn't humming... you can't hum with your mouth open, you might hurt yourself.

Isaac Treat

Jon, in FO4 have you yet found any gun you have considered overpowered? I have. I found legendary combat shotgun that shoots explosive shells (every pellet(?) in shell explode with area of effect) with 15 extra damage. Fully customized it can deal 175 damage + exlosive damages, kill targets at ~80 meters away and is still "silenced" with suppressor. Had to crank difficulty from normal to hard to get any challenge after killing Behemot with 5 shots and Deathclaw with 3... Fun but takes away all challenge from combat.

Orfiel

Sounds great! I get my arse on thinking challenges for you. Got many ideas already while waiting for you to catch me up in FO4 (90 hours in). ;)

Orfiel

It is, at least for now, as in November and December, the amount I get paid for the ads is reasonable, due to the all the games people want to advertise. In January, we'll have to see - I may need to do a little drive on the main channel to bring in some extras, but I can keep a roof over my head and food on the table.

Many A True Nerd

Ahh, the Midlands - I lived there for many years :)

Many A True Nerd

Totally - I may put a topic up at some point for that - interestingly, I had already thought about Bond as a theme :)

Many A True Nerd

I'd really like to play XCom, but I'd rather wait until 2K sort themselves out regarding their position on YouTube first. I know I'm being over-cautious, really, but there's no shortage of other games.

Many A True Nerd

Seeing as you are enjoying Omerta will you be playing XCOM2 when it comes out??

Keith Thurston

Jon, are you accepting "Fallout 4 Challenges" in the future? Game is pretty vast and offers a lot to do and maybe even some hilarious different things to make. Maybe community could give you different challenges like "James Bond" with only Tuxedo and silenced pistol, no companions etc. and you could make videos from those plays.

Orfiel

2600 dollars is, what, 1700 pounds? Does not sound much but with even some ad revenue from Youtube it might come closer to 2000 pounds and start to sound like salary you can live (even after taxes). I'm going to upgrade my pledge later when I get decent job, I rather help through Patreon than watch ads, should do both but I can choose and I choose to give straight to creator.

Orfiel

I hope this question isnt too intrusive, but I was wondering, is the income from patreon at a point where this is a sustainable job? I look forward to every episode, and your video quality has vastly increased since this became your full time job, so I hope this will become a viable solution for the long term.

Archie

I know my original question was about fallout but I really am enjoying omerta! More would be welcomed! =3

Jamie Bell

Hi Jon, welcome from your newest subscriber (literally about an hour ago), so this is well timed. I'm loving the FO4 run so far. I was turned onto your channel by my wife who has been following your FNV material for much longer (and who also subs). As a fellow Brit I know how the cost of living made it a bit of a scary jump to take this on full time and leave a salaried position, especially given where you live. I'm only on PhD money, but I'm not paying £4 a pint up here in the Midlands so I've sent the excess your way. My suggestion for a game to cover would be the remake of XCom. I'd love to see you craft a whole squad of troopers with your take on their quirks and personalities and then try not to get them all eaten by Chrysalids.

Joe Jones
