Virtual Succubus 0.25 Pre-Release

Hello!

Hope you all had some ok holidays, rough times out there.

This month’s build is a little bit casual compared to the last 19 months. It’s mostly QOL/bugfix focused, with a favor addition that should allow for a different type of gameplay.

I’ve honestly had to take it a little bit more casually for this holiday period, as 19 months straight of monthly crunch to get complex features out was getting a little bit intense! Gave this weird thing called real life a bit more of my time, and it’s been refreshing.

I’ll probably be doing some minor content/feature additions throughout pre-release, to make up for the shorter patch notes this time.

I’ve got a few ideas for next month I’m really excited about though; so time to start yet another year of developing your favorite succubus.

- Fixed a bug causing quickies not to appear in the menu.

0.25PR3

- Added "Shifting Futa" (Other Visuals) toggle. This allows her to choose per-session if she's a futa.

- Fixed Punishment Commands always giving commandments.

- Rhythm quickies should no longer be able to fakeout.

- Added "Pretending" (Other) toggle. This makes her drop the act at the end of sessions, returning her mood to pleased before you leave.

- Safewording now clears spin the wheel task outcomes.

- Free quickies now periodically change to the various teasing animations from endings.

0.25PR4

- Increased the time allowance to press the "cumming" button during countdowns in endings.

- The "cumming" button now remains up for a few seconds after she tells you to take your hands off during endings, giving you a little bit of lenience to press it.

- Several status tasks (toys etc) that were marked as unrepeatable are now considered repeatable and can be given more than once per session.

- Fixed a bug that could cause her to repeatedly fakeout and go back into endings if you had Soft Time Limit on.

Features

Quickies

Quickies are a new favor reward, involving 3 new session types that are meant to be shorter or function differently. You’ll be expected to come “prepared” for these!

Quickies act as a full session, and thus will give you favor for their completion. Perfect for when you have less time than usual!

Regular Quickie

Regular quickies are the default type of quickie, involving a teasing and ending segment. It effectively skips the session, going straight to teasing you until you cum.
This does respect your ending settings!

Free Quickie

Free quickies are a new type of session enabling you to respect your contract with your succubus even if you don’t necessarily want to interact with the game.
She’ll allow you some freedom, and watch you do your own thing until you’re done. No more excuses for contract breaking!

Rhythm Quickie

Rhythm quickies are the return of the old Rhythm Ending behavior, only now it’s completely focused around one rhythm event, eventually leading to a rhythm ending.
Endings will still eventually have more rhythm components eventually, but this is still in the process of being designed. If you miss the old rhythm endings sometimes, you can now use this favor request to enjoy them again!

New In-Game Menu & Safeword

There is now a new in-game menu you can open by tapping the status button, and a new button that appears next to it. It contains several new options:

Pause

This pauses the session timer, allowing you to tell her that you need to take a few minutes. Can’t find a toy? Your session’s length will no longer be affected!

Hide UI

Now conveniently located on a menu button! Enjoy viewing your succubus with no obstructions, or take a screenshot for wallpaper purposes :)

Safeword

A completely new feature, the Safe Word allows you to tell your succubus that you need to take a moment.
After safe wording, she will drop any act, and go back to being happy. You’ll immediately be put in a comfortable situation, where she’ll wait for you to feel better.
3 options will be given to you: Continue, Go Easy, and End Session.
Continue will just resume the session as it was.
Go Easy effectively acts as if you’d told her that you had a bad day.
End Session will outright end the session at that exact moment.
A new toggle is available to disable the availability of the Safe Word: Note that while this is of course, not recommended in a traditional BDSM relationship, the possibility of having a safe word may hurt the immersive experience for some, thus it remains an option to remove it. Walking away remains the best option if you need to!
