Recycling time! (A little surprise.)

I've been looking at Calling Cipher last week to see what I can do with the game.

The script is complete rubbish, of course. Nothing to salvage there except the characters and small parts of the plot.

The artwork is gorgeous, and luckily most high school uniformed characters had also casual clothes.

Most of the CGs are made for both casual clothes and uniform, so I'm lucky there too.

All in all, it was pretty salvage-able if I could just fix the plot.

And a few days ago, I found a way. 

So...

Don't tell anyone but Calling Cipher is now officially a WIP ImpQueen game.

It will mostly be made for mobiles, but will also be ported to PC and MAC.

It will have separate routes for each romance-able character and a separate prologue chapter.

Unfortunately, because it will be taking up a good chunk of my time, the routes won't be free except the prologue chapter.

But each route won't cost any more than $2 and if you are a Pacacorn or the Royalpaca tier, you will receive all routes for free both as an APK file and a desktop application (PC and MAC) as soon as they are available.

What changed?

Most importantly, Riley is not a high school girl anymore. She and her friends are all second year in college.

Matt is now a professor (or is he?!).

Kai is still Kai and Chase is a last year College student.

Plot is a bit more intricate and it will be slightly more mature.

(Not in a sexy way! (OR IS IT?!) But not exactly in Cardinal Cross territory either. It's still pretty light and fun.)

It's a %100 Otome game. It's less slice-of-life and more adventure-romance.

I'm kind of scared, because full otomes are kind of an unknown territory for me. (Wish me luck!)

Riley has some character changes. I'm adding more weaknesses and vulnerabilities to her character now, so we can see some sort of development from her.

And lastly,

Once the boys are done, I want to work on the girl's romance route, starting from either Megan or Taylor.

I have a feeling it will work out this time.

At least I know I'm enjoying this very much right now. I already finished one game and I kinda liked the taste, so I won't be giving up again quickly or easily.
