Thanks for sticking with me through all of Book 1. If you read the original version and made it this far again, an extra thank you - your feedback has been invaluable.
Acolytes/Aspirants: I'm hoping to get Book 2 started for you in a few weeks. The original plan was October 22nd, but the beta readers came back with some great feedback that I want to nail before launching. That said, the prologue drops October 22nd either way. Book 2 will post at 2 chapters per week - I can't maintain daily posts when I'm actively writing the damn thing. The book's about halfway done; I paused to rewrite and edit the first half to get it moving at the right pace.
Free Members and Royal Road: To maintain the six-week advance for paid tiers, there'll be a bit more delay on your end. End of November to early December is the target for Book 2. It's just the nature of serial fiction - someone's gotta be first, and paid supporters get that privilege.
The Big Caveat: All of this rides on my ability to write new chapters while simultaneously editing Book 1 for publication. So far, so good, but we'll see if I maintain my sanity.
