GOOD NEWS: The Future of Runeforged Realms

Hey everyone,

I've got some massive news to share, and honestly, I'm still processing it all myself. Runeforged Realms has been picked up by Aethon Books.

Yeah, you read that right. The same publisher behind some of the biggest names in progression fantasy and LitRPG has decided Ben's story is worth telling, and I couldn't be more grateful or excited.

Now, before anyone starts asking about timelines—and trust me, I know you will—let me be upfront: everything is still pretty murky. This development might actually push back our Royal Road re-release as I dive deep into edits and focus on getting book two written. I know that's probably not what you wanted to hear, but I'd rather do this right than rush it.

My current goal is to get book one fully submitted by the end of July. That's what I'm shooting for, but as anyone who's been following me knows, writing rarely goes according to plan. Once that's locked in, I'll have a much clearer picture of what everything else looks like.

I have to say, I'm particularly proud of how the rewrites have turned out, especially given these recent developments. There's something surreal about polishing prose knowing it's going to be in readers' hands through a publisher I've admired for years. The story feels tighter, the magic system more coherent, and Ben's character arc hits different now.

So what does this actually mean for all of you?

Ben's story will be told in full. which means you'll get the complete journey I've been planning from the start. The quality is going to be on par with what you'd expect from Aethon, and if you've been beta-reading the recent chapters, I hope you're already noticing that difference.

I'll be updating here as much as possible going into the next few months, especially once I'm through this editing gauntlet. The rewriting has been consuming literally all of my time, but the juice is absolutely worth the squeeze. Every scene feels more intentional, every piece of dialogue sharper.

I'm also planning to launch a new Patreon tier soon that'll let people buy into beta reading if that's something you're interested in. Though—we probably won't have many new faces available until we re-launch everything properly.

As for release dates, formats, and all those other details you're probably dying to know about—more info is coming. I promise I'll share everything I can as soon as I can, but right now I'm in that weird liminal space where things are happening fast but timelines are still being hammered out.

This has been an incredible journey so far, and knowing that Ben's story will reach the audience it deserves makes every late night and revision worth it. Thank you for sticking with me through all of this. Your support has been everything, and I can't wait to share what comes next.
