Friday Update – Back to the Old Schedule & What’s Coming Next

Time for a quick update! First off, I’m now significantly further ahead in writing than I was before, so I’m bringing back the old Wednesday/Friday release schedule on Royal Road.
For Patreon members? Both chapters will drop here on Wednesday. No subscription required—just an easy way to read ahead if you want.
Cover & Naming Tweaks
Next Tuesday, I’m meeting with my cover artist to go over designs (which are already shaping up to be insane) and a slight change in naming convention. Nothing huge, just some refinements that better fit the story.
Final Arc & Editing Plans
The final arc is officially underway, and once the book is fully written and posted, I’ll be doing a full editing pass before it’s officially wrapped. My original estimate of finishing by April is still looking solid, so I’ll be pushing hard to stick to that. Once it’s done? Expect Patreon-first chapter dumps before ramping up the pace on Royal Road.
Future of Runebound
At some point, I’ll be posting a poll here to get your thoughts on where we go from here. The beats for Book 2 are written, but they’ll shift based on feedback how I end Book 1. Still figuring out exactly how I want to approach it.
Also, I’ve got two other stories in the Runebound universe that I’ve been toying with, and I’m seriously excited to share them. They’ll likely be exclusive to Patreon at first, so keep an eye out for more on that soon.
