Some thoughts.

It is really funny that, even though my eyes are getting worse and worse, my brain is getting more and more refreshed recently.
I have got some good inspirations recently and designed some more gameplays which are much better than before.

Looking back from now, gameplays before the balcony scene are a bit lame. The first reason is I was still quite inexperienced at that time. Another reason is that I was still thinking under the framework of our inspiration (NtrLegend) and did not jump out of it. Recently, I am working on some new features of the game, and I have learned a lot in this process. Some examples are the messages and the SM scenes. Initially I thought these two features were just some trivial add-ons to the game (like providing some contexts, some conversations and another new sex scene). However, when I gave a deeper consideration into it, a lot of fun ideas jumped into my brain like sparks. Due to time constraints, I have picked a few good ones and implemented them into the game. For the rest of them I would either leave it in an updated version after release or into the next game (if there is one.)

Just went through literally a 14-hour work with my very blurry eyes, but it has become a mental refresh for me.

We have some income left over this month, so after some consideration we decided to go all in with the money left in hands and use them to draw some more CGs (extra CGs based on last week's addition). New CGs will be added to the message sections, the after-stories section and other exciting but let's-keep-it-a-secret sections. I was a bit hesitant before, because cost always has a strong positive correlation to the sales price. Increasing the cost would mostly means an increase in the price. Since DLsite is a price-sensitive market, this might not be beneficial to our release. However, after experiencing all these mental progresses, I realized those ratios are not really that vital. Most importantly, I want to bring this game to a standard that I can feel satisfied with.

The balcony scene is fine. I mean the scenes before it (the first two mini-games in player's home -> that tea time and cooking events) could have been done in a better way. If I could have a chance to redo it I would probably try doing it from a different angle. They might not be that bad but still they are not that fun compared to the later mini-games(especially the ones added recently).

I don't know what bothers you about the session with the balcony, I don't think it's too early or something wrong. You shouldn't barriere a farmer if she's that far, it doesn't make any difference to me where we continue with her and level ; P if I understand it correctly, but I'm very happy to hear that you both feel more energetic about the project, then keep your fingers crossed that it stays that way and you don't hit a blockade of the different kind, so you're having fun with your project ; )
