Okay, I will use these posts to rant a bit about MHA, either the show or the characters featured :3
----
Truth be told, I stopped watching MHA on the second season. It escalated in a way that I disliked. Its biggest mistake in my opinion was becoming so focused on 'the chosen one and his fated rival'.
Deku going from a shitty experience in school, to a new school where he managed to get along with everyone was something that I liked and could identify with. I saw the situations he was involved and classmates and would think "haha, they REALLY remind me of my friends at school / that thing that happened" so I wish they had more limelight - it's a class of super heroes after all.
But the focus shift from the class AND the school and everything ends after what...1 year?
In my ideal world the manga would have show every year until the students graduate. Its a serie about a super hero SCHOOL..
I WANT TO SEE THE SCHOOL STUFF MAN
I want to see all the classes, the exams, the inter-class tourneys, the proms and festivals and see the cast advance and develop year after year. I want to see them figuring out what they will actually do with their lives, and for everyone in the class to get some lil arc. I want to see the humor and the fun of the juxtaposition of super heroes and school - have they go on school trips in abandoned villain lairs or a hellcarrier, have them try cheat exams using super powers, have rival school conflicts and etc...
What I'm trying to say is that my ideal take would be 30% super heroics, 50% school, 20% Venture Bros.
