Exactly, the second style is the standard for most digital anime illustrations. The first style is what I created; in it, I tried to add more reflection and light. For some reason, this gives me the impression of very clean hair, lol, but the second style is technically correct, but I will try to create more reflections in it.

While 1s highlights are like your signature style. It's tough. If I would decide, I would choose a mix of both, highlights from 1 and shadows from 2
