Into the Multiverse

Waking up in a room that you don’t know of is very off-putting, especially when the person staring back in front of the mirror was yourself.
Placing his palm on his cheek, he felt the smooth acne-free skin before using his index finger and thumb to squeeze on his cheek, pulling it with all his strength.
Pain shot down his spine as he cursed out loud, ignoring the fact that his voice sounded so different before standing up from his bed.
He was a person of average height for a 20-year-old Chinese guy, standing at a tall 5’8 feet with some muscle on his body. He was not a gym rat, but he was alethic enough with frequent hiking and jogs with his parents and sister.
But right now, he was standing at a decent 4’6 feet with sticks as his arms and legs. At least he was still Chinese, small mercies, though he had the characteristics of an American too. Black, curly short hair, and sky-blue eyes stared back at him. This was his normal hair do, but his eyes were originally black, compared to the one in the mirror.
He then looked around his room. It was a simple room with minimal decorations. A grey painted wall, a long wooden table with neatly placed stationery and books, a wardrobe, and a few plastic containers meant for storage.
Walking to his table, he tried to find something, anything, only to lay his eyes on a brown manila envelope and a vial of substance. Taking the vial, he looked into it, only to be mesmerized by the swirling liquid that had the shade of purple, black, and gold.
Placing it down gently after having his fill of entertainment, he took the envelope into his hands and tore it open for its contents. Inside it was a note, an ID card, some important looking documents, and a wad of 50-dollar bills.
Grabbing the note out, he read it aloud.
Dear [NAME REDACTED],
Hey, this is the person who transmigrated you.
You might not know me, but I was the one who granted your dying wishes, which were to travel the multiverse with freedom.
A simple request, but since you only gave one wish instead of the normal three before dying, I’ve went ahead and granted you a few boons for your trip.
Everything important is in that vial, so drink it. It’s your system with your boons.
PS: You didn’t wish for your memories to be brought over, but that’s too cruel so I made it so that important things will only come as a déjà vu instead, while removing the none-important ones like your name and such. I did however keep all memories with your parents, since I’m not a sadistic son of a gun.
PPS: You’re welcome for that, I hate it if my memories were yanked out too. Your friends, however, were bitches so I removed them. Good riddance, in my opinion.
Putting the note on the table, he processed the content of the note before thanking the entity for the gesture. Now, onto the main event.
Taking the cork out of the vial, he instinctively put it to his nose and sniffed it. Hmm, smells like mint chocolate, nice. Well, bottoms up, he guessed. With a single gulp, he emptied the contents of the vial.
Licking his lips, he suddenly knows what to do.
“Menu.”
Upon saying the words, a game-like menu appeared in front of his vision.

A classic. Though he could only use it once before he runs out of mana.
With his curiosity culled, he opened the Quest Page.

Glancing at the manila envelope, he took it into his hands before dumping its contents onto the table. Spreading the documents and ID, he started with his ID as he filled in the blanks in his Status Page.
Damien Redgrave, his birthdate and year was on the 28th of June 1986, in New York City? Damn, that’s far as hell, America of all places? From Asia to the States, his sister would have a field-day at the thought of such a holiday.
He specifically stared at his surname, Redgrave. He swore he heard of it before. The sudden image of a man with a red coat and white hair flashed through his head as he heard a ding in his mind. He noticed, at the top right corner of his vision, a bell icon with a red mark.
A notification. He raised his hand and tapped it. A pop-up of the notification appeared.

In that instant, he felt a drastic change in his body. The world was much… clearer in a sense, and he suddenly had a feeling of a faint heat in his heart. Information flowed into his head as he gave a smirk.
His parameters are quite interesting.
Strength, simple enough, it’s the destructive power behind his muscles.
Endurance, mostly stamina and health. The higher this stat is, the less tired he would feel during a certain task, and he will have a higher immunity system.
Agility, is ability to move quickly and easily or to think quickly. In layman terms, the higher this stat, the easier it is to manoeuvre around and the faster it will take to go from point A to point B.
Dexterity, the skill and speed in doing anything, especially using your hands. Basically; the higher this stat, the higher one’s eye-hand coordination becomes, like aim with a gun or catching baseballs easier.
Intelligence, this one isn’t that useful other than the amount of mana his magic core can store and how fast said mana could regenerate. It has nothing to do with actual intelligence.
Lastly, perception. This includes his 5 senses and the hidden sense, 6thsense. This means that the higher the stat of this parameter, the more sensitive he was to things occurring around him.
With his now perception that was ten times higher than he was before, he could see the little spots of whites on the roots of his hair. He gave a confused look.
“White hair? And hold up, Nephilim?”
He tried tapping the screen to get more information about the new race he just somehow obtained, but it wouldn’t show him anything other than the description of a weird sentence.
===============
RACE: Nephilim
DESCRIPTION: Union of a human and a demon, the ultimate half-born.
EFFECT: +3 to All Stats upon level-up; ???; ???; ???
===============
Changing his focus, he looked over at the pages of documents. Scanning through them, he finished it with ease and sat down on his bed., processing what he just read.
… Transfer papers? To a full-time… Summer camp… In Long Island.

Oh, fuck him sideways. He was in the Riordanverse.
He opened his Status Page to see if anything was different.

So, levelling up doesn’t give a stat point? That’s reasonable, because of the 18 stat points per level due to his weird race, which is actually insane.
A single stat point… Where was he putting this in?
Hold up, he should choose a job first before allocating this —
*KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK!*
His door made a knocking sound.
“Sweetie, it’s mommy, can I come in?”
The sweet voice of a woman caused him to look at the door with a stare. There was something off about this, he could feel warning signs blaring in his head, towards the door. His perception stat was yelling at him, that whoever was behind the door had heaps of power compared to him.
Then, something grazed at the back of his head. He tilted his head and noted that it wasn’t at the back of his head, it was some kind of sense that was beckoning him. He could feel it. His passive skill, [INSTINCTS] was yelling at him to look at something.
He then glanced at the direction, back at the documents, with his instincts warning him to look at a particular line in the document’s 2ndparagraph.
“It is the will of your parents for you to attend this camp until the foreseen future — “
If that’s not his parents…
Then, what the hell was in front of that door?
