I'm behind watching on FireStick because I've had such a bad winter with plague. Swear I've caught everything this year. Always such a fun journey. Others accurately pointed out Ewok change. I love the original too. In fact my Return of the Jedi cassette tape... Included the Yub Nub celebration. If you have a min, also worth rewatching the original Jabbas palace band. I'd add this for the original cantina scene for Star Wars IV. Found a lot depends on who grew up with what. But all these years on, seeing both is worth it. Ewoks AND Droids were both Saturday cartoons. Was like a HUGE deal to see Star Wars on my own lil TV.

2026-02-11 01:58:36 +0000 UTCThe ending was changed to show that the whole galaxy was celebrating. Luke didn’t really know that Anakin either. Force ghosts are depicted at the time of their deaths. I prefer the original ending also.
