Considering her mom's excitement and glee over Breaking Bad I think it might be in the genes.

Hilarious. I'll tell you a quick story of my first year in school. When I was a kid I had to walk home from school and it took me like 40 minutes and I was apparently obsessed with our letterbox and opening it and getting the mail. Well I walked home from school in Prep (5 or 6 years old) and opened every single letter box from every single house and took all their mail. When I got home I told my Mum (I had a speech problem) .. "Mum, I got your yetters from the yetter box". So, my Mum then had to take a bag full of letters and walk my route home from school and mail everyone's mail back to them. One house at a time. Some people came out of their homes and she had to explain to them that her son had committed a federal crime and had stolen all their mail lol

LMAO!! I shouldn't laugh & wonderfully taught life lesson. But since the statute of limitation has probably run some 44 years later... I have a clear memory of yoinking the green handled, left-handed, safety scissors. Tbf, they were binged up and all my class had. The thought was if I "disappear" them, they'd replace them! This of course did not happen. Teacher just said "Guess what? You're now ambidextrous." Or something to that effect. 😂

Kleptonia! What a pretty name. I’m impressed she’s building up an artist’s studio with materials and reference.

I am happy you are having her not just take it back, but apologize. That is good parenting. Being 4 I think carrying scissors might not be good too. hahaha

Oh, the joy of when a child first demonstrates their ability to transparently lie about their actions. All of us go through that phase, it tends to come shortly after the sociopathic honesty phase. Not sure which one I prefer, being bad at lying or being a little too good at truth lol

P.S. -don’t feel bad, we still have our Christmas tree up, decorations and all. And we’re still turning it on at night.

Here’s what I think she did. She saw the Elmer’s Glue, slathered her hands with the glue, and then shoved both hands into the cubbies that hold the classroom toys and supplies. What ever stuck, she shoved in her nap sack. Before you have her bring it all back, here’s a fun way to bring out her creative side. Tell her she has to make something using all of those items that she brought home. And then have her bring whatever she makes into school with her along with the “borrowed” items, and have her present it to her teacher along with an apology. That will be her penance. Loved this little insight into the LiteWeight household! Keep em coming!
