2026-02-15 04:37:43 +0000 UTCI'm a purest that prefers the true original editions I grew up with that are almost impossible to find nowadays. I need to track down the Despecialized Editions that are out there somewhere. They(fans) took the best originals they could find and did their own cleanup and color correction. Now that Disney owns SW, I hope someday they'll do an official version of the project. Since they haven't done it yet(and Disney loves money), I have to assume there's some language in the Lucasarts purchase contract that's preventing it.

They do a pretty good job of following the film plots, while including their own irreverent humor. If interested, they're the finales of seasons 6, 8, and 9, respectively.

2026-02-06 06:15:05 +0000 UTCHe called Jabba a human because in the original scene (edited out of the original film) it was a human actor playing the role of Jabba. When the special edition was made they put the scene back in the movie and replaced the actor with CGI Jabba.
