Wow thx Larry, even I haven't seen that yet.

Hi Tee! I came back for this and saw other stuff like BrBa that I wanna see you react to too. another lighthearted baseball movie I think you would like is The Sandlot (I just checked and I see you've not reacted to that so I assume you've not seen it either - and there's no crying 😜); even if you're not fond of baseball or know nothing about it (well after this you know something ofc...) BIG ❀️❀️ hearts just for having done this as I'm about to start... NOW. Edit: Ah, shadow-banning... Ever since I first heard that word because my friends The SoapGirls (a band) were shadow-banned a lot (esp. on what I now call fecesbook (sorry)), and they described what they were going through, it has screamed 'fascism!' to me. And 'just' bc some peeps don't watch your outros??? Ri-effing-diculous! Okay I had to say that, now back to whare I was, and good luck with all this! 😘❀️

There is a film, released one year earlier, about the Eight Chicago White Sox players who were banned from Professional Baseball, including Shoeless Joe Jackson, after the 1919 World Series. Eight Men Out (1988)… starring John Cusack, Charlie Sheen and David Strathairn (who you just saw in this film as Ira Lowenstein) Highly Recommended.

That's so smart to put the outros as free patreon content! i've seen at least one other youtube react channel post their "movie discussion" or "after thoughts" as a separate youtube video, so that people who click on it are the ones who wouldn't click off that portion in the first place. But to put it as free content on patreaon is better - it's still completely free, which i think is important because it's such a large part of the actual "reacting". But this way it'll drive more traffic to your patreon page which i'm sure will increase paid memberships -- way to turn a problem into a positive!

Teegan: Says at the beginning that she doesn't have tissues and is recording this and then another video afterward. Me: Knows this movie well and sees Field of Dreams is next. Me: Oh no. (I realize from the different outfits that FoD was probably not the second recording she was referring to, but still... lol) Also super happy about the squeal when she recognized Don S. Davies(Gen. Hammond).

Great film! I enjoyed your reaction Teagan! It is uncanny how they found actors that looked so much like their younger counterparts! I also like how they kept the ending ambiguous. Did Dottie drop the ball on purpose? They carefully showed earlier in the film Dottie getting ran over by another base runner and she hung on to the ball. Hinting that she dropped the ball on purpose. But, Dottie also goes to mound before Kit’s at bat, and tells the pitcher exactly how to strike Kit out. Hinting she’s going for the win My personal opinion, I think she dropped the ball on purpose 😊

Robert da Spruce

Nope. Dottie did not let her win. It’s like she said, Kit just wanted it more. Great movie. Great reaction. And especially great advice from Jimmy Dugan…”avoid the clap”

WOW! I haven't seen this movie in a very long time, but my eyes were already getting teary when Dottie was talking with her grandsons. The AAGPBL All American Girls Professional Baseball Laeague was real from 1943-1954. The Rockford Peaches and The Racine Belles were real teams, but the league had over 600 players. I believe the women playing during the end credits were members of the league and Madonna wrote and sang the song during the credits.
