I spent some time the past few days rearranging my “Ali cat box” 🐱 I’ll be showing some pictures soon once it’s done, but so far I’ve been having a lot of fun getting out trading cards I plan to use and send for the upcoming tier. So far I’ll be using Pokemon, Yu-GI-Oh!, Magic, Weiss Schwarz, Force of Will, and One Piece cards ✨
I know I already mentioned it but the vision is to have a postcard, note, small doodle and around 5 trading cards inside :3

I love Ina’s design too! When her group debuted my eyes were instantly drawn to her lol xD As for the clothes/bikini; in my head sea creatures see it as just normal clothes. I also like to think that our clothes would be embarrassing for them; so like reverse anime where the girl doesn’t want the guy to see her wearing a completely normal outfit haha! 🤣 The minute you brought up Ghost in the Shell the song instantly started playing in my head. God I love the anime and music. My nostalgia went back to all those late nights of adult swim/toonami playing ✨ I don’t think you mentioned Old Number Seven before but damn, I liked that! Southern self-destruction really was the best description for that song. Definitely not the same experience as the singer, but one verse got me in the feels; the “When I grew up fast, I guess I grew up mean. There's a thousand things inside my head I wish I ain't seen” But good music is supposed to do that! Thanks for showing me that one :D

I feel like a broken record sometimes xD I did just notice the tentacle hair detail though. Reminds me a bit of Ninomae Ina'nis. I always thought that was a cool look. Also, I couldn't help but think about whether or not a bikini would be considered a normal outfit for underwater creatures. Like, could she just show up to work in that? Are there entire dress codes built around that sort of thing? Do they have bikini formal wear?! I've never heard "Shijun no Zankoku" before, nor watched the anime that it's featured in, but it absolutely has that 2000s anime OST sound to it. I find that's pretty comfy on its own. Feels like home! It kinda reminds me of "inner universe" by Origa if it had more guitars and less synth. I think it's probably the standout female vocals. Uncultured moment - I didn't know for the longest time that Yoko Kanno had done the music for Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex. It explains why there are so many bangers though. My recommendation for this week is "Old Number Seven" by The Devil Makes Three. I couldn't remember if I'd mentioned it before, but I thought of this immediately after I'd made my recommendation post last week. This is WAY more in the vein of southern self-destruction. I know you're a fan of Jack too...not that you're having the same experiences as the singer or anything :P

2025-06-03 06:47:02 +0000 UTCThank you Kench! :D As for the third tier, they won’t be boxes per se, I’m just keeping all the goodies in said alichu cat box for organization 🐱 ❤️ What I’ll be sending out is a postcard with a hand written note, doodle and cards inside every month! :3 Thinking about it, I’m not sure if I’ve drawn a truly monstrous octopus girl- like her whole lower half is just octopus like you mentioned. Maybe I’ll try that sometime and have the full 8 arms! :) And please don’t apologize about being late! I always want people to interact on their own time :D I’m sorry to hear about your back giving you trouble, but am happy you enjoyed the wedding! 😊

Also yeah I'm almost surprised you didn't go for the whole 8 octopus tentacles! I guess 4 octopus limbs and 4 human for a total of 8? If you want to draw more (and I would be very ok with more lol), maybe a scylla monster girl or another eldritch being like a shoggoth? First one is bottom half all tentacles like Ursula in The Little Mermaid, second one is like the whole no-holds-barred Unlimited Tentacle Works <<.<< Sorry I'm a bit late to the party; just got back home from a family member's wedding out of state. My back injury kept me from enjoying the afterparty as much as I wanted, but the actual ceremony itself was wonderful, my cousin and his bride looked absolutely radiant ^^
