I'm excited for you too, I hope we get to see your card! And that's the deck! She's one of the main engines for the deck. The thing that's not in Master Duel yet are the new Primite Cards, they're a secondary engine that take the deck from good to great. A zombie deck is so you :P But that's really cool! I actually like archetypes in Yugioh and think it's cool people can have a themed deck that play differently. You should throw in my favorite card into one of your decks, Magic Cylinder. It always pisses someone off lol

I hope you and your friends have fun playing :D Unfortunately I don’t have anyone IRL to play with but I’ve definitely been enjoying online duels so it’s been fun for me too! As for the blue eyes deck, are you referring to the one with the cute girl on the deck cover? If so, that one is in Master Duel! I was in a super intense duel against one. I almost used all my time but I won!! >:) I’m trying my damndest to learn how link/pendulum works. I sometimes get it but other times I’m just like “what the actual f-?!!” 😂 I’m currently obsessed with what I call my “skelly deck.” It’s full of zombies and focuses on beefing the heck out of a big skelly (I’m talking like 10k+ attack lol). I also feel you on the small community/streamer thing. I do have my favorites (Korone/Raora/Pekora), but when it comes to ASMR and stuff I very much gravitate towards smaller creators. My ASMR interests (listening/viewing wise) are also the complete opposite of what I myself do lol xD At this point nothing YT does surprises me anymore. It was like no matter which ones I tried nothing made me want to keep watching after a while. But hey, it’s ok! You’ll eventually find a series that you really like. Time is valuable so you should always use it towards stuff you enjoy! :)

I’m roughly 10 years older than one and even older than another :P And I’d definitely like to do more card openings! Honestly there’s a lot of actual video ideas I’d like to do for you all. I have so many collections I think would be fun to show off (some cards and others just other nerdy things lol xD) Other than growing up watching some dub series (Bleach, Death Note, Code Geass, FMA), I can’t tell you the last time I’ve watched an anime in English. I try to surround myself with as much Japanese as possible since I’m trying to learn it! But back on the topic, I don’t normally hear many good things from English dubs…hehe 😅 I can’t say much though since it’s been so long that I’ve listened to any! I never got into Ragnarok Online but I’m familiar with it! It’s a shame because what I’ve seen of it definitely looks like a game I would have enjoyed. I suppose my MMO introductions went into the RuneScape/WoW direction instead haha! 😆 I’ve said this before but I adore Rudy as a character. He feels so refreshingly real and believable and I really love that! And don’t think I didn’t notice the Strawberry Panic comment, I had those mangas when I was younger! Lol. Confession: it made me want to go to said school for all the wrong reasons. Yes, you can judge me 💀 As for all the things, it is like you said haha! XD I try to give things equal time or sometimes just do things based on how I feel. However, if I’m given too many choices I definitely get overstimulated lol. I know I gotta be careful though because my personality/habits mixed with WoW can lead to hours of gaming and nothing else 😂 I haven’t tried Jobless Reincarnation dubbed so I’ll have to check it out! My go to for anime is always Japanese since I’m trying to learn it but now I’m curious how the English sounds :P I know Tenchi Muyo is a big one but I admit I’ve never watched it! I may have seen an episode or two here and there but never enough to grasp the story. Maybe I should try it sometime ^_^

2025-03-23 04:21:45 +0000 UTCMy eyes lit up with excitement when I got the notification for this ramble. More so than usual too :P I was working on a new yugioh deck when I got the notification! I think I had mentioned I started to get into collecting pokemon cards, but that led me to start looking at yugioh. I loved playing yugioh, I played all the time from basically all of grade school to the end of highschool. And now they released another Blue-Eyes structure deck, the nostalgia was overwhelming and pulled me right back in! So now I have a pretty meta Blue-Eyes deck, and I've started slowly working on three other decks, and I've been buying several packs. I'm hooked lol I've even managed to convince some friends to start playing again, so I'm very excited for when they finish their decks! But unfortunately I don't play Master Duel right now. Building a competitive deck is pretty expensive with real cards already, I would probably go a little crazy with the gems if I started playing master duel. I also dislike that they're a few sets behind, I wouldn't be able to recreate my deck and practice with it. But I'll probably give in and start playing eventually 🙃 The new summoning mechanics were definitely the most challenging aspect of returning to the TCG. I like Link summons, but I kinda hate Pendulum summons. Both mechanics have significantly accelerated the game's pace. If you dislike both of those, there's always the unofficial older formats that people like to play. A lot of people like Goat format, but I think Edison format is probably my favorite. You'll never guess what show I have started rewatching. I typically only watch anime subbed but I wanted to rewatch yugioh in English. Crunchyroll only has the subs, at first I was annoyed but holy crap you are right! The vibe of the anime is totally different! It feels so much more serious. And the voice acting is so much better than I thought it would be. There are so many things I never caught when watching the show as a kid. I might take some inspiration from your pokemon challenge and try and watch the whole thing. That whole coincidence with Pokemon Emerald is really cool! Playing a game at the same time as a streamer you like is always pretty fun. I'm not subscribed to any huge vtuber channel, but I every now and then, I'll catch part of a stream. Most of the vtubers I do subscribe to are pretty small, but I think I prefer that. It makes me feel like I'm growing with them and their community. The 100 girlfriends anime lol That show has been on my list since it started airing, and I might watch it soon because Rie Takahashi is voice acting one of the characters in the current season. She's one of my favorite anime voice actors. I haven't watched because I think I'm behind on basically all the anime I've been watching. I've started too many shows! I'm usually a glass half empty kind of guy, but I think we can take a positive spin on the whole situation with struggling with your Ash comic :P It's clear you have a lot on your plate, but it seems you're taking your time with everything and that is the right approach. The fact that you have so much you want to do is awesome! Especially for us listeners. Just don't burn yourself out, I don't think any of your AliCats mind waiting a little longer for something. Even if I have to wait a bit for something to come out, I'll just be a surprise if it's something we haven't seen from you in a while :) I don't like YouTube ads, but I absolutely hate them when I'm trying to watch ASMR. The whole ad system they have makes it way too difficult to watch ASMR. Especially if it's a playlist! One minute you're asleep, and the next you get jump scared because an ad blasts in your ears. ASMR is pretty much the only reason I pay for premium. Sometimes I feel like cancelling and just watching through Fire Fox with an ad blocker, but I feel like that might hurt some creators I like. So paying for YouTube premium it is 😮💨 Since apparently they share a portion of the money with creators of videos you watch. Overall, this ramble was such a treat. Yugioh, Pokemon, and Mushoku Tensei? I'm happy.

2025-03-22 21:41:27 +0000 UTCI may have never played WoW, but anyone that’s played any game similar or not knows THE GRIND NEVER STOPS🔥🔥🔥 That’s been me recently playing Balatro lol :P Personally I haven’t watched many anime, and the few I have I lost interest in after a while. I tried to watch that one spider isekai but then the mc became a half spider half fan service babe and lost interest. Only other anime I watched was assassination classroom which I loved but my younger brother ruined it for me :/ Haven’t found an anime that has interested me since then (also I don’t like crunchyroll)

But-- interesting tidbit-- I know we've chatted in the past about how similarly to you, I am the eldest of the Shadowcats. Well, we shadows are many, so much so that my youngest brother and I actually share a birthday 11 years apart. xD So I made sure to make some time afterwards to go and see my siblings and dote on them, as a responsible big brother should. Honestly Yu-Gi-Oh is something that never successfully drew me in, and likely my greatest exposure to it comes in the forms of memes and clips from the abridged series. Still! It's always enjoyable to listen to you talk about your passions, big and small. And hey, checking singles value is just part of being an OG TCG player, there's no shame there! :P Either way, buying more cards means more card opening videos, ehhh? Maybe? If the Alicats behave and ask nicely? (Please please please~) :3 Hah.. I try not to thrash Dubs too hard (they do it to themselves well enough on their own most of the time >.>) but seriously... JP voicework is just on an entirely different level. Always has been. They care about the craft so much and are so skilled with their range! Maybe it's also because as a native english speaker its easier to notice the shortfalls in bad dubwork, but.. God. So much of it just feels offputting and.. idk. The inflections are wrong, the timing is weird.. But really I do consider it a sort of quality control/effort problem? Because there are also many examples of really high quality english dubwork (Mononoke Hime, anyone? <3) so you know it can be done right... It just usually... Isn't. Lol. I'm so glad to know that you've been watching Pekora's Emerald playthrough. God. So good. I love that little warcriminal so much. x3 At least shiny hunting in the Let's Go! games is a little more favourable than in the 'mainline' titles! You should definitely go for that grind if you're feeling it~ Absolutely nothing wrong with being an oldschool dopamine grinder. I know exactly the brain tickle in question, and just.. Yeah. Sometimes you gotta live for that hard hard farming session. Nothing quite hits the same as those oldschool MMO timesinks, honestly. I have always been extremely fond of the old MMO Ragnarok Online and let me tell you, I've spent some hoouuursssss there. Mushoku Tensei is so, so good. It's easy to shit on upfront because of Rudeus' growth arc as a character-- and he is certainly flawed as a person-- but just like you're saying, the quality storytelling and flow of the narrative quickly begin to help fill in those gaps and show the ways he changes for the better. It helps that within the world those sorts of polyamorous relationships are not entirely uncommon, and the dynamics between him and his wives make it feel organic and justified in the way things ultimately pan out. The girls have their fair share of wrongs & circumstances involving Rudy (Except Roxy cuz she's perfect. :p) that make their involvements feel legitimate. Yuri? Uuuhh... *Hides the Strawberry Panic books* ...Madoka and Homura are all I need. Homura did nothing wrong! Aaaand, girl, that's not weird at all. I completely understand you there. It's almost.. Like a sort of production paranoia? Where there are just so so many things to do that nomatter what you do or don't actually engage with, it never feels like you did all the things you want or as much as you should have.. Which can ironically make you hesitant or unsure of which things to do in the first place. I experience this a lot a lot. Maintaining my writing schedule to get chapters for my light novels, wanting to run my casual streams for my little vtuber channel, needing to make sure I keep up with my different hobbies and skills like swordsmanship and woodwork, setting aside time to game socially and be available to help upkeep the guilds/clans that I officer for, trying to keep up with the other creators that I love and enjoy.. I do my best to sort of.. Move in like, a flow state, if that makes any sense. Going between the different things as my mood dictates and digging deep into whatever motivates me at the time.. But it can be so unreliable and it *absolutely* leads to those situations where I'll sit and think to myself.. "Man, maybe I ought to have spent more time doing X." and get into a little rut where I feel almost guilty for doing one thing but not another. Orrrr I want to do a little of everything and in the process of trying to figure out how to do it all, I end up not actually doing... Anything. Because I spent the entire day staring at my monitor trying to figure out what/where to start and slipped into limbo for 3 hours. Orrrr I get dragged into something where my siblings or guildmates need their big brother Shadowcat and even though I don't regret being there for them, it eats up my day and then I mentally tear myself up for not 'working' on my projects. xD I'm sure it's different from what you're saying in some aspects but I definitely feel where you're coming from. I suppose it's almost like being overstimulated haha~ Or like, a baby going into decision paralysis after being presented with too many toys? Lmao. The classic "I WILL DO ALL THE THINGS." ending with being flopped in bed staring into the void. >.> Thanks for the heads up regarding youtube. I kinda don't notice since I have whatever their subscription is, but loud-ass commercials are certainly the bane of any video. 2025-03-22 07:27:25 +0000 UTCOh dang, I used to be all for the grind in WoW, too. Though I'm not currently playing, I still main the same character that I started with back when the game launched. I remember back in 2008 getting all the fishing achievements that could be gotten at the time, too. Amusingly that's still all recorded on my character's Armory profile 100 Girlfriends is really cute, and even more funny. So glad to hear about another person enjoying it, too! And I also agree that Jobless Reincarnation has really good quality in everything put into it. Nowadays I watch most things subtitled, including 100 Girlfriends, because it's hard to find a well directed dub, but Jobless Reincarnation is one of the rare ones that puts a lot of effort into the quality of the dub as well. And as far as harem anime goes, or just anime in general at all for that matter, the first anime I was introduced to way back in middle school was Tenchi Muyo. Oh the mIRC debates that were had back in the day of which one girl Techi should end up with, only for season five to come out twenty-seven years later to shut everyone up

2025-03-22 07:12:38 +0000 UTCI got myself an Arizona green tea and few minutes after work before I need to go to the gym it’s been a long day so far so I’m happy to chill for a bit. have always liked yugioh I never really got into the cards or games as much as pokemon but I did think they were cool especially the dragon cards the classic blue eyes white and reds eyes black the winged dragon of Ra. Thee original yugioh has always been my favorite of all their series I’ve probably rewatched it like 5 or 6 times but I haven’t watched it in Japanese your making me want to do it next time I rewatch it. It would be awesome to see your yugioh card collection. Farming in videos games is a special thing it’s something a lot of people like to hate on but for the most part I enjoy grinding games sometimes all you wanna do is turn you brain off and grind a bit and the longer you spent grinding for something that sweeter is once you actually get it. I’ve heard of both of the first 2 anime’s you were talking about but Its just really hard for me to watch harem anime’s they just make me feel icky and I’ve had a lot of people recommend me jobless reincarnation but I just can’t bring myself around to watch it maybe I’ll get over it one day especially if it has a good story but I’ve got a ton of stuff to go through on my watchlist anyway. Time is something none of us have enough of I totally get what you mean you got so many different things you want and need to do that you end up not doing as much for me I’ve been wanting to upload on my destiny yt channel again and I’m editing for my friends channel and still try to workout 4 or 5 times a week at the gym and my jobs been having me work 6 days a week and i got a bunch of animals to take care of and I still wanna find some time to watch anime and play videos games so I have found myself putting my own yt channel on the back burner. Google just wants to make more money as much as they may claims it’s for your benefit all they want is more ad revenue also thank you so much for only having the one on your videos I’ve fallen asleep to your videos so many times and never get woken up but I’ve had several times on other channels where I’m about to fall asleep or did and then BAM Tide pods commercial screaming in my ears wakes me up and the worst part is it works cause I still use tide pods😭. Well thanks for letting me chill for a bit giving me a bit of time to cooldown after work before I go to the gym my stress from the day has been greatly reduced.
