Question of the week is this: what’s the last thing you regret buying? It can be something small or big. Mine was probably a pomegranate drink that was mixed with peach tea. TLDR; it was disgusting xD

They’re always a staple for my dinner meal prep, I dice em up, toss them in olive oil, sea salt, fresh cracked peppercorn, thyme, and rosemary then roast them till they’re nice and soft, soooo good I’m with you on sweet potato fries though, not a fan. They just don’t crisp the same way regular potatoes do

I’ve had them and thought they were absolutely delicious and then I’ve had others that, like you said, tasted like nothing lol. I don’t think I’ve ever had good sweet potato french fries though, they never seem to get crispy enough for me XD

I love real peaches but peach-flavored things are always way too sickly sweet to me As for purchases I regret, I bought some cheaper bulk sweet potatoes to see if there was any real difference between those and my usual and uh, yes. Yes there was. The cheaper ones were smaller, weirdly fibrous, and had like next to no flavor and I LOVE sweet potato so you know it was bad. Turns out they were cheaper for a reason lol

I completely understand the too much of a good thing becoming bad statement lol. Case in point being a cookie dough coffee creamer I tried recently. It almost tasted too much like cookie dough if that makes sense. It even had that chalky/egg taste and boy was it gross lol. I’m sorry to hear about your new PC case, that is very unfortunate. I do think it’s cool that you build your own though! That’s always something I wanted to get into ^_^

Both in CA and here I feel like the dust is just never ending. No matter how much I clean it just keeps coming back- damn you dust! D:<

It may not be for everyone but I think some furniture places let you do payment plans if that’s something that works for you. I hope it works out for you though and you’re able to have a nice new bed soon!

Considering I like pumpkin spice I’d be willing to give that a shot too. But most other fruits and toppings? Nah, not for me lol. Funny enough I tried a different pomegranate juice today- orange white tea and that one was really good! 👍

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't voting partially so I can see what you do with the art. I love pomegranate, but peach tea has always been kind of hit or miss for me, personally. I think I learned my lesson on being too zealous when combining flavors. There's a nearby boba tea cafe that I frequent and it taught me that too much of a good thing can definitely become a bad thing, lol. The last significant thing I can remember regretting is my new PC case. Strange, right? Nah, I'd forgotten how awful it is buying something that's an unconventional shape and size. My old heatsink rubs up against the glass and I had to get smaller fans because the new RAM is too tall as well. The joys of PC building. All of this happened just because I wanted a different aesthetic. You'd think I'd be good at this after doing it for so long...

Technically it's 2 things but I bought them both at the same time but it's this bed cover that's supposed to make your bed cooler for when it's hot and uhh it doesn't work or I don't feel it making my bed cooler and they didn't have my bed size so I had to get a larger size which was like 50 bucks and the other item was this air purifier as I can't stand my room being dusty and no matter how often I clean it feels like it's never dust free anyways I bought it thinking it'll help a bit and short story no it doesn't I don't even know if it's helping at all 🫠. The air purifier was like 60 sooooo that's great 🥲

Rant time lol So my mattress is starting to get a little old but it's still comfortable, but I wanted to get a mattress pad for it. I bought the last queen size one, everything else was king. Fast forward a couple days and I still haven't opened it and I get a call from one of my sister's, she is moving and getting rid of a bunch of stuff, including a brand new bed frame. It is a king size bed frame and I immediately claim it. Bigger = Better right? Unfortunately my peanut stegosaurus brain didn't account for how expensive a bigger mattress is. So now I'm trying to figure out a large expense (still haven't bought it) and I need to return a mattress pad I probably shouldn't have bought to begin with.

The visit is only a check-up on my eye, nothing too important.) Last thing I regret buying? Hmm... let me think. Honestly, I don't regret anything I've bought yet. I think the main reason for that is mainly from not being able to spend it anyways because of not going out to stores and such so I'm kinda upset about it.

Lol And honestly, the last thing I regret buying was that orange dreamsicle cheesecake I mentioned, yea, it tastes good.. but honestly, I think I'm just a purist when it comes to cheesecake lol 2 slices and I'm already sick of it, also, I like pomegranate juice, I love peach tea, but I'm trying to imagine the taste together and nope! And for the poll, I'm fairly certain parasite won't win, but that's the most interesting to me, I'm curious how you'd make that work lol

Either I'm insane or it's a phenomenon I see my own students do in their papers, a "Worst sum of good parts" case, when so many little elements are in themselves good, but together, they do not mesh well... Perhaps I'm just a grumpy old man too, who knows? Be careful of paper cuts, fellas!!
