Ghost Art, song rec & other stuff :)
Added 2024-06-01 23:04:16 +0000 UTCHello ali cats, I hope you’re all enjoying your weekend so far ❤️ Above is the art of your recent ghost girlfri- I mean, ghost hunting partner :P I really enjoyed incorporating a real photo I took in with my background. I think I’d like to experiment with that again at some point if I can take some good pictures!
Two quick things: one, I’ll probably be posting a ramble sometime tomorrow or Monday. Two, I’ll also be adding in an annual payment option since I had a few people suggest that for convenience. Like I mentioned before, don’t feel pressured to do this option! I’m not adding any benefits, it really is just for those who find it easier to handle a yearly payment rather than month to month.
Song of the week is one I heard just today on Octane (radio channel) ! I thought it was so good so please give em’ a listen. I was surprised the song’s video only had a few hundred views last I checked. As usual feel free to post your own recommendations for music you listened to this week :)

You don’t have bad music taste at all, it’s quite the opposite! I think all the Ali cats have good music taste ^_^ Doom n gloom was really good. I’m surprised it doesn’t have more views too- I really liked the singer’s voice especially. I feel bad it’s taking me so long to make one. Half of it is because I know nothing about it at all so I’ve been looking into how it works. The other half is that I’d like to make it on my own so I don’t have to rely on anyone- maybe that makes me stubborn haha! XD

That's no bueno about the pc!! And nah, that was We're Alive, the Magnus Institute is about a fictional group called well.. the Magnus Institute that catalogs all these weird and supernatural stories and what not, and as it goes on, it goes from more of an archive, to things actively happening to the group

Right before I left Hot Topic I bought a shirt with them on it :D I had my doubts for the cover when I first saw this but that was pretty damn good! Why is it that so many punk/emo songs fit the country theme so well? lol. I mean, I guess country music could be labeled as emo when you think about it xD

I wanted to keep her cute and simple since that’s the vibe I was going for with the story this time around ^_^ I’m kinda surprised the song doesn’t have more views. I heard it on the radio channel I frequently listen to and thought it was awesome! Happy to hear you liked it too :) That’s cool that you recommend that Slash song! Right when I saw it I thought it looked familiar. Sure enough it’s a song I was thinking about using on a Speedpaint of mine back when I did those before ASMR :P

I would like to set up a discord still, yes! It may take me a bit longer since I’m relying on my iPad right now for pretty much everything. I’d like to get myself a proper PC since my last one was on its last leg before I moved :’) Once I get that though I plan on making it! Very nice! This is the apocalypse podcast series you were talking about before right?

That was a pretty good song, I'll have to look up their other stuff. I'm going to again recommend a cover of another song by a band I really like, You're Gonna Go Far Kid (SALOON/WESTERN COVER) by the channel Melodicka Bros. The Offspring is one of my favorite bands so I was already interested to see their song get covered but I didn't think it would fit this well.

I am pleased by your choices in how you constructed the features of this fictional female. lol Definitely use real photos again, that last one worked well for this character! Damn, "Dig A Grave" is indeed underappreciated. I'm used to listening to song with only thousands of views but this hasn't even reached one thousand. Good of you to try and bring it to light, it's pretty awesome! My recommendation is "SLASH" by Tokyo Machine for some halloween vibes following our ghosts story!

Also, using a real photo for the background turned out pretty good! Ooh, yay, a ramble :p as for the annual tier, awesome, I'm sure a few people will enjoy that! Out of curiosity, I know you mentioned a while back that you were thinking of setting up a discord, any update to that? Also, no song recommendation from me again, but I do have an audio drama podcast, The Magnus Protocol, a continuation of the Magnus Archives!
