Long days of driving are tough but lucky you have a cute plushie to cuddle with at the end of the night! Sure, some of the hotels may not be the best but hey, you win some, you lose some. It's going to be a few more days before you make it to your destination, so for now it's time to get nice and cozy with your faithful travel plush~
Happy Friday ali cats, I hope you all have a great weekend! I have a feeling I may get asked and the answer is yes- this story and character was inspired by my road trip :P She was also inspired by a real life plushie I have that I'll be uploading a picture of tomorrow!
Before you go to sleep, tell me: any plans for the weekend? I'm currently in the process of working on my next little animation so that's what I'll be doing :3

Like I told Arty I don’t think I’ll need to see a doctor since it is getting better. On the plus side at least trying not to run around means I’m less likely to procrastinate on my homework for college lol

Your drawing is also really good, it makes me think of a zombie plushie, or like someone Frankensteined it into being. I'm gonna relax this weekend, play some games and try to nurse myself back to health.

I don’t think the real Kuromi has the ears but you’ll see why I added them in a bit when I post the pic 💜 Like Arty mentioned, sounds like you have a lot going on! I hope that you enjoy your trip up North and have fun with your family. Good to hear they know about the eye drops too- hope that’s going well too btw. Be sure to get some cool stuff at Hot Topic! If not I’d definitely go get it checked out, I think hurting your lower back is probably one of the worst places to injure. I hope you get to enjoy your four day weekend despite your back Succotash. Maybe do something inside like draw or watch an anime while you recover! :)

You probably know by now that I for one do have a thing for plushies. And you ask what I plan to be doing; well "plushie" is a hint. I'm working on an original character art :) Can't wait to share it once it's done. I think I am draw a shark because you reminded me of my old shark-plushie that I had as a child. And I really liked the story, especially in combination with the drawing. A plushie that has never been abandoned, always been repaired, who became a companion you could rely on to be there to cuddle with you, no matter how long and exhausting the journey is, he is there for you every night. And Ali when you post the picture, can you please tell us more about your plushie?

A Floofy plushie indeed, that'll work nicely on my bed so that's all good in my department. :) Also, is this a build-a-bear plushie because those are the vibes I'm getting? Speaking of travels, I'm probably gonna end up going to my birth place up North since my family there is missing me, but also because recently one of my uncles is having breathing problems(he does pool construction for a living so he probably inhaled a lot of concrete). They also know about the eye drops I'm taking but I'm making sure to put them before myself so yeah. I will say though, they claim it's nothing too serious to worry about but it's better to know he's OK rather than not, especially since majority of the time I spend over there is going to the local Hot Topic to find Funko Pops with my little brother and such. :P Finally to top it all off, I've got a birthday of my mother's brother's son's, one being the oldest and the other the 3rd to youngest(because of the new baby they had), but tomorrow is gonna be better since it's gonna be my mother's sister's son birthday because this one is on the ACTUAL day it is and because me and him are good pals.

It does make me realize that a plushie girl OC seems to be an underrated character design. I have to work on Saturday, so no major plans for the weekend other than chores when I'm done. I do have a new illustration to work on, and it was commissioned by a friend to draw my OC with their OC.

Looking forward to seeing the plushie that inspired the character, did you name the plushie? Also excited to see the animation! As for weekend plans I actually have a four-day thanks to Memorial Day, but I don’t think I’ll be doing anything too exciting since I need to focus on recovery. Unfortunately I hurt my back in the gym today, I was doing rack pulls, they’re sort of like a deadlift but the movement starts a little higher so it’s more back focused. Anyway, on the 7th rep of my 2nd set my form was bad, and I pulled with my back instead of driving with the legs. Needless to say, incorrectly lifting 245lbs is NOT ideal haha, immediately had a sharp pain shoot up my lower back so I quit then and there, didn’t wanna risk aggravating it further. I don’t think it’s serious, it only hurts on like a 4-5 outta 10. Standing up and walking is a little difficult if I sit too long cause my back starts screaming at me but other than that I’m fine. If the pain doesn’t lessen after a day or gets worse I’ll get it checked out but I don’t think it’ll come to that
