This Friday you’ll be doing some reverse comfort on a harpy/bird girl after a certain incident lol. I’m looking forward to that one a lot :P Next week I was thinking of making a character based on one of these three choices so let me know which you like most ❤️
Question of the week is this: favorite type of jelly? I’m asking because I’m one of the few people in my family that likes Strawberry. Grape seems to be king in the south, especially on biscuits xD

Lol I've just been sitting there, fully expecting to be laid off in a month or so, so I was even looking at my options lol maybe move out of the city, like a smaller rural town here in NC, or god forbid.. back to VA... lol, but once I got official word about the project, oh my lord, I just felt so so so much better lol had the first meeting today, and it's certainly a lot of work, but I'm itching to start it lol Lol people are weird with tastes and what not, oooh.. I could go for one of those fake little cherry pies actually...

It’s always nice to know you have job security so that’s awesome. I can understand how stressful it probably was though so I’m glad it wasn’t anything bad but good instead ^_^ I’m very similar to that with cherries. I don’t mind cherry flavored things but can’t stand the taste of a real one haha! XD

Was actually tempted to DM you about that but didn't wanna seem weird haha It's better now! :D been very very worried about layoffs to the point that I was only getting like 2 hours of sleep every nice last week lol but I just got reassigned to a new project that not only gives me training in other systems, but gives job security! :D Oooh, I love the taste of peaches! Peach jam, peach juice, peach cobbler, real peach moonshine lol oddly enough though, I don't like actual peaches, but it's right up there alongside plums as my favorite fruit!

2024-05-15 01:47:39 +0000 UTCI'm gonna say something that you might not expect and will be a true test of your southernlyness. Some might not consider it a jelly/jam but I do because of what you put it on. Apple butter, it's rare to find but man it's so good on a biscuit.

Every now and then they would have one thing that was actually decent but those usually didn't last. Like I get you're trying to make kids healthy but forcing schools won't change anything, they are just gonna go home and eat junk.

I know some people use that word interchangeably for jelly around here but I think they may be different, I’m not too sure haha! As for PP&J, I really liked them growing up! It’s a good combo of sweet and salty if you like stuff like that :) You’re in Australia, right? I know it’s nothing alike but I’ve always wanted to try vegimite!!

I got her a little before moving so she’s kinda my comfort plushie right now :P I don’t think you’re the only person to dislike jelly! I can definitely see why some people may not like it. Honestly a lot of them are too sweet for me. That’s another thing I’m trying to get used to moving back is everyone here likes everything so damn sweet lol. I didn’t have any biscuits when I went to Cracker Barrel but my Mom makes delicious homemade ones! :D

A patron in TN told me about it and I didn’t even know until it was too late ; o ; That’s my fault for never watching the news…or anything related to what’s going on outside haha! I’m sorry to hear about your stressful weekend though, hopefully this week is better for you :) I’ve had stewed peaches like in peach cobbler but never peach jelly. It sounds delicious though!

As for school lunches mine were pretty meh- they weren’t terrible but they weren’t great either xD I remember the only time I genuinely enjoyed it was when they served these single serve pizzas. To be fair though I know the lunch ladies didn’t cook it, they were frozen 100% lol.

Strawberry is always a safe choice, though I'll splurge for raspberry sometimes too. Side note, I've never tried a pb&j, even as a kid. Is it really all its cracked up to be?

Idc how many times it's called a doll, or how many times I see my mother get frightening by it for some reason(lol), it will forever be by my side. Ok I think I'm probably the only person who's gonna say this but... I don't like jelly. Like I've tried various of flavors but I just don't like jelly. I will however back your statement up with grape jelly and biscuits since that's something they do at Cracker Barrel, also something you probably did as well when going there too Alichu.

Hmm...peach jam is my all time favorite, but strawberry is my go to simply cause it's cheaper lol but yea.. here in NC, I've noticed everyone has grape jelly, especially with biscuits lol

2024-05-13 22:20:55 +0000 UTCI'm glad you asked! Strawberry is a solid choice, but my favorite's probably blueberry. It's so distinct and has such depth of flavor! Some other under-rated jelly flavors are mango and pineapple. Give them a try if you can find them

2024-05-13 20:35:45 +0000 UTCI wind up regularly buying strawberry or raspberry jelly and like both. Blueberry and blackberry are good too. Only time I see grape jelly in my house is when my Mom makes her cocktail meatballs for the sauce

2024-05-13 18:52:17 +0000 UTCI would be interested in the design of the character if it were to be a traditional 19th century doll that "comes to life" or something (opportunity for a sprinkle of horror), but I also have a good feeling the plushie will involve that what plushies are for... cuddling! 😊 And then figurine would be more suited for either an already-existing anime character or an original one. So a win for each! But, just by a hair, I choose plushie because how much I love them irl I haven't eaten jelly in years actually. But I do remember my primary school (UK equivalent to 1st to 6th grade) serving strawberry jelly as one of its daily desert options for lunch. And it was quite nice. The food at my school then was hit or miss, some were amazing, the others; prison quality lol. For anyone reading, what about your school(s)? Did they serve good lunch or nah? I'm taking over this QOTW haha
