ali rambles: moving date & complaining about my video editor (program!) lol
Added 2024-04-09 04:47:13 +0000 UTCI recorded this a little bit ago but am just now uploading it, hints why I mentioned next month being April lol xD Since I recorded this, I've officially worked my last day at Hot Topic. I've had a few emotional moments about it but I'm alright now. I met a lot of cool people there and they all wish me the best which made me very happy ♥ I'm hopeful that I'll find somewhere I like to work at just as much in the future. Hell, maybe at one point I can just make ASMR and other stuff- you never know where the world may take you :P

Speaking of a new job, I might be getting one soon! I applied to a new place today! Still the same field and everything but I'm trying to make a bit more money so I can move out faster lol. Don't know if I'll get it but I figured I would start to look since my raise this year was kinda middling.

Even with the packing it's been pretty nice though. I can't remember the last time I woke up without needing an alarm- unless it's for a nap or a day off haha! xD I better take advantage of that while I can because I know that will change when I get a new job lol. I wish you the best when finding an apartment Joker! I definitely never want to make a big move again so I feel you. Wherever you end up I hope it's nice, clean and comfy! ^_^

2024-04-13 22:34:52 +0000 UTCI kinda get what you mean, even when I take off a few days to play a new game release I get a bit anxious towards the end because I haven't been working. It just starts to feel kinda wrong being off for a long period of time lol. I do think having more options is overall a good things but I defiantly understand the frustration. At work we use Excel ALOT and I have memorized all the part that I used in my day to day and ignore basically everything else. Although that does mean that my coworkers will occasionally show me something that makes my life 10x easier and I just never knew about lol. Also for sure, I don't want to be stuck somewhere that has problems springing up everyday after I move in. Preferably I would like to find a nice place with a good landlord so I never have to move again, but that seems really unrealistic lol.

I wanted to make sure they had some time to plan for a new hire if they needed to after my leave :') It's been kinda weird not working these past few days- definitely not used to that feeling haha! Granted it's been replaced with packing and getting ready but it's still a strange new feeling. I used to use Windows movie maker until it started bugging out on me then I switched to OBS! It's simple but gets the job done. I wish some of these editing programs were just as easy Dx As for apartments, never hesitate to ask questions! It's better to ask and know then find out later when you already signed. Some online places have reviews you can check out too. Granted some of them may not be completely honest so I would look for consistencies throughout the reviews- those are usually the true problems to look out for most!

I don't really know if it will be helpful in the future as I'm not too sure how a recommendation from another state would go lol. But in general I don't like burning bridges cause who knows when something might be relevant. I also hate most editing programs. The few times I have made a video, I used windows movie maker due to how simple it was lol. Also this story has been added to my list of apartment horror stories. I swear I have gotten a list of so many issues to look out for when getting one that they are going to look at me like I'm crazy when I'm looking at things on an apartment tour.

Though, my tolerance went way down lol that brandy got my tipsy lol and lol, I like to travel and go on road trips, but NC is my home, and while I may not like my city, I love this this state! Lol you have a place already lined up btw, or are you staying with family? Lol oh god... I had a really horrid person that lived below me lol let's just say.. she got around, and was seeing 4 guys at the same time, but dear lord of she found out one of them had someone else on the side, she would go banshee mode! I actually had to call the cops on her once! Lol other than her and the Karen, everyone around here is chill. Also, figured out a way to get the Karen to go away if she started talking to me while I was outside lol just text one of my other neighbors who's a guy of a darker complexion, he'd come out, acting as friendly as could be, like actual friendly, not creepy friendly, and a Karen is gonna Karen so she'd be afraid of the darker skinned man, and quickly go back inside haha Yup! No idea what I'm gonna do this year for it haha and no problem!!! ^^

I look back and am thankful that I at least got to live somewhere else for a good while. I know a lot of my high school friends/classmates never got the opportunity to leave. I'm not saying that's a bad thing by any means, but I always knew I wanted to get out and experience somewhere else. Moving out at 18 was scary as hell but I don't regret it- I made a lot of good memories and got to meet all kinds of new people.

Maybe sometime in the future I can look into doing that ^_^ The rest of my time here I mainly plan on packing, shipping and hanging out with the family/friends that are here since I may not get to see them for a while. I'm hoping to make this last little bit as stress free as possible and eating as much good food as I can! xD

Not really sure what else the state has to offer but I'm sure there's other cool stuff! If you ever come to NC get ready to see a lot of Tabacco fields and just farms...lots and lots of farms lol. Growing up (and even now) I've always been that person to help clean up when I visit someone. Now that I'll be living back in my good old teenage room for a bit, I plan on cleaning the house for my Mom while she works. It's the least I could do for her letting me live there a bit! But yeah, I always helped out my grandparents, aunts/uncles, etc. with cleaning when I visit so I feel ya! I'm glad to hear you enjoyed the eclipse! I didn't get a chance to see it- was too busy and ended up taking a nap haha! xD As for pink, who cares what other people think! Like Skelly said, pink is awesome- doesn't matter what your gender is. This is just my opinion, but I don't think any colors should be considered weird. Just like what you like! ♥

Also, I feel you on how things are when you get interested in something, I'm the same way, once I get an interest, I must do all of the research, must get all of the things haha but I definitely understand how it is with a move that big, so much stress, so many memories, I'm hoping I don't have to do any more long distance moves from the east coast to west coast and back again.. lol Also, I'm still in my first apartment, I'm glad it's in a relatively nice area, VERY family oriented though, everyone here is older than me with kids. Couple years back, ended up actually having a legit Karen for a neighbor, oh my lord it was horrid! She was also paranoid that the neighbor above her was drilling into her bedroom because my AC was messed up and making a very loud noise lol. Though, when I first moved in, a heard a few pops, my dad called me up, and I jokingly said I think someone just got shot outside, looked outside ...yeeaaa... I think it was a drug deal gone wrong, but the people who pulled the guns ended up shooting themselves in the legs. Also, completely off topic, this entire time, I thought you were a few years younger than me, but it sounds like you're a little bit older since I'm turning 31 in June lol Also, I'll probably say it again before your move, but be safe! See awesome things, and make sure to rest when you need to!

Your home state is close enough to where I live that I could potentially meet you at a nearby convention or something (if you ever go to those) so I think that's kind of cool. My first apartment I had right after moving to a new state also had a pest problem: lots of cockroaches. Similarly impossible to get rid of for the 2 years I lived there. Though honestly, I hate ants being in my living space more. And that's several days still of not having to work while you're still living in CA. Got any fun plans for the time off besides packing?

2024-04-09 13:54:55 +0000 UTCIt was interesting listening to your talk about video editing because for a while I had thought about getting back into singing and doing things like vids with my illustrations, and maybe adding some "animation" to it like I have been seeing recently in the Vtuber space animated music vids. I don't know much about video editing, although I do have a free version of DaVinci Resolve that I still need to get into. For audio, I still use Audacity; I had looked into other DAW's but mostly for the curiosity of making digital music as opposed to audio recording and editing. There's at the least plenty of YouTube vids discussing all kinds of audio programs and their pros & cons are, but my brain still scrambles on which ones to choose. As for that last life story, that must be quite disturbing and awkward hearing other people's intimacy time through the walls and not knowing what they were even doing. I can somewhat relate to you about packing books. While I don't have an extensive library, I do have enough to fill full shelves. You never realize how heavy books can be until you load them up in a box and try carrying them. Hope things go well with the move.

You definitely should have your small intro introduction before the asmr begins one day, maybe something along the lines of, "Nya(left ear, said slowly, and spaced from the next one) Nya(right ear and said slowly), welcome to my little asmr wamble, hope you enjoy listening to me." Literally just chugged two bottles of Mtn Dew Baja Blast before this ramble so I'm more than ready for this ramble. Also, say hi to my relatives from Mexico in South Carolina if you pass by there why don't you lol(it was either that or me joking about the South and the North for like a sec). Hey, being in a desert isn't so bad alright. Mexico may be fuckin hot, but God damn is it ever cold when the night time comes. A good balance between the two, plus you get the added bonus to drink when you're like 18 and have travel with horses, one of the many things rich people have lol. Man, this "editor" of yours just isn't doing their job very well. Definitely has nothing to do with you and how good you do your art is, they just struggle to even keep up with what you do beautifully, hehe, nervous laughing. Hey, being on dish duty will one day be worth it, especially if you get paid 20 bucks to do them since some lazy ass doesn't wanna clean them lol. On the real though, I've had different experiences with cleaning dishes. With my older brother in his own "temporary" house from my father, he claims he does dishes(probably when I'm not there), yet everytime I visit him for something, he has the sink filled with dirty dishes. Even then, he just joked to me saying, "We've just been using the plastic plates and such, makes washing dishes non existent." Even me with dishes is different. Having my mother and father working late for both of the time and my little brother being the annoying(and lazy sack of shit) he is, I always cleaned them up just so they have nothing of more work to do at home and so they can just sit back an relax. Even my family members in the North, when they saw me clean dishes to let them not be troubled with it, one of their wives told me, "I've never met a boy like you who does that for someone else." I feel like I'm just a house cleaner whenever it comes to that, even on here I'd clean Alichu's room for the time being while wearing a maid outfit and having cat ears on. I feel like this is the scenario you had when that was happening(I would just say, "Just say they were fucking already, we already know about swearing and such anyway," but this is a free space to let your mind enjoy a ramble, even with all of us "probably" being degenerate): Alichu: *casually just watching TLOTR or something* Neighbors: *Banging😏*(Or probably raging at CS:GO)* Just adding this for extra since of today. The eclipse was definitely better than the one in 2016-2017 because this one actually had a change of the outside. Shit I thought I was in a damn Lucid dream and that I'm asleep and missing out on the eclipse. Still doesn't beat the dark and red coolness of the Blood Moon since that looked better. That or I just have an obsessed with anything of red or pink(don't judge me, pink is a good color I like along with Yellow, even if it may be claimed as a weird color for guys to wear[not an actual fact, I just think that for some reason]. Even then, I still question to myself that if that's a weird color for guys to wear, what's a weird color for girls to wear).
