Ali rambles: telling you funny stories :P [rain background]
Added 2024-03-06 06:05:51 +0000 UTCHello everyone, I hope you're having a good day/night! I've gotten a few messages and comments lately of a few people mentioning they are going through some stressful things, and I can relate. In my experience the best way to combat stress or feeling down is to laugh. As such, I thought I would tell you all some funny stories about myself :P Like I said, I laugh at myself all the time so feel free to laugh at me too. I put in some rain for maximum relation vibes lol.
Apologies for me clearing my throat so much. It's still pretty cold where I live so it's just something that's been going on lately ;//; I think I may have mentioned this in the audio but as for my cousin who played football, it wasn't anything like serious football- it was basically just a bunch of little kids running around and that's about it xD I wasn't there when he hurt his other arm while playing but I did see the aftermath of it. He laughs about it now too so it's all good lol.

Nice, thanks for explaining the differences to me! This whole time I thought they were used interchangeably so I appreciate it :)

2024-03-15 05:24:12 +0000 UTCNot a dumb question at all! Omni is very similar to Pan, in fact I thought I was Pan before I learned of Omni. Both are attracted to all genders, but while gender has no effect on a pansexual persons attraction to someone, omnisexual people may have a more of a preference for one or multiple genders despite also being attracted to all. Me personally I have more of a preference for female presenting people, but I’m still able to be attracted all genders

2024-03-12 11:15:15 +0000 UTCAs someone that grew up in a very religious household, I really felt you on this story. But hey, you weren't wrong about gay meaning happy! :P I'm sorry you had to deal with the "homosexuality is bad thing" thing though. It's kinda funny now that I'm older because I've met quite a bit of gay Christians and I think it's great! Believe what you want and do what you want, just don't go around hurting or killing stuff is my motto. Similar to you I discovered I was pansexual later. I may be dumb for asking but I think that's the same or similar to being omnisexual? Either way, I don't care what gender someone is. If I like you then I like you :P

2024-03-12 09:06:53 +0000 UTCOne story I have that makes me laugh and cringe is one from when I was in like 1st grade. I was spiking my hair in the bathroom, and some other kid comes in and sees me fussing with my hair, prompting him to ask if “I was gay or something.” Now context, I went to a Christian private school at the time so I’d never heard another definition of the word gay other than that it meant happy…I’m sure you see where this is going. Feeling reasonably good about how my day was going I thought to myself, “yeah I’m pretty happy.” So I responded, “yeah I’m gay.” Remember, this was a CHRISTIAN private school and they were not exactly supportive of anything other than heterosexual relationships. So, I was called to the principals office and they were like “we heard you said that you were gay, is that true?” I was like, “yeah, why? Does it not just mean happy?” Aaaand I then got a lesson on what homosexuality is and why god hates it and why I should never say that again which was…a lot for my 1st grade brain to process haha So yeah that was a pretty cringy memory all around. And damn, they musta really not done a great job trying to instill the whole “gay is bad” thing considering I ended up finding out I was omnisexual once I hit my later teen years anyway lol

2024-03-12 02:36:35 +0000 UTCOh no- all over the new car too! I'm sure your mom was less than pleased at that ordeal lol. Luckily, I lived in the country so if you really had to pee there is usually one option: pulling over and going in the woods lol. I've never done it but a few of my family member have. Just be careful not to touch poison ivy while doing your business xD

2024-03-12 01:56:27 +0000 UTCI wish I had funny stories to share, but most of them aren't about me and rather what I saw, and some are a bit gross, but looking back I laugh. One such story my family still laughs about was when my brother and I went to a zoo with my mum and my aunt in her new car, that’s important. This zoo has the drive through enclosures, and before we even get in, my mum is making sure we've all done our business, because the driving takes a while to get through. My brother, claims to not need to go, and lo and behold not even halfway through and he needs to piss. Now the only thing we have in the car at the time was a small bottle of water, so he has to try pee in that whilst we're moving still. Long story short: piss, everywhere. Moral of the story: Do your business before you get stuck, or get good aim and a big enough bottle.

2024-03-10 23:18:22 +0000 UTCOh man, sorry you missed out on the Kiss concert :( I hope you and your Dad had a good time at the one you ended up going to though! Oh yeah, when I was a kid/teen I had big attitude problems. I never got into any physical fights or anything (aside from these cousin ones lol) but I sure knew how to use my words. I've calmed down now that I'm older though :P

2024-03-09 07:27:36 +0000 UTCUnfortunately, I have inherited no such swag. The nerd part, yes lol. And you would be right in that short people are to be feared! We have to think of alternative ways to fight so one should tread lightly around us lmao. I kid of course xD

2024-03-09 07:15:33 +0000 UTCNah, it's all good! I can't say I'm too surprised. I think there comes a point where it's hard for things to shock you anymore- especially the strange/stupid actions of kids. I told this to someone else on here, but I thank God I didn't grow up on the internet as it is now. I feel kinda bad for young generations and the stuff they have to deal with. The part about your mom gave me a good laugh- that's cute! My mom is pretty short too. Not as short as me but I'm sure she also felt small compared to her siblings. I usually get mistaken for being younger and sometimes a boy if my hair is short enough. That used to bother me but now I'm just like, "You know what, screw it- I'm taking it as a compliment" lol.

2024-03-09 07:11:04 +0000 UTCI defiantly have my own grievances with my parents so that's understandable. I had a similar type of thing where my mom said she would buy me and my dad tickets to Kiss and just completely forgot to do it lol. Thankfully we went to a different concert soonish after but I was pretty disappointed at the time. I was also surprised, what's even more surprising is that they are the cousin I am closest with. And even then that was true. I have no idea how we even got into that situation anymore either lol. Also yeah that is good that it was baby teeth. Never would have guessed you were a little ruffian as a kid.

2024-03-08 20:42:11 +0000 UTCI've heard that people love nerds when they're confident and passionate, so capable of sharing said fire in them. Might be how your dad had so many lady friends... to tango with?? :' )) Hopefully you have inherited the swag nwn. Being the smallest means you had access to kneecaps to end people's adventurer careers tho. I've learned that the smol are to be feared, so you must have been an amazing big sis :3 Who needs height anyway, huh??

2024-03-08 12:45:29 +0000 UTCOh man, those stories were great haha! xD I got a good chuckle out of all of them but the one with you and the bees really had me laughing. I just imagined some boy little boy screaming "We're all gonna die!" at the top of his lungs and that is just so funny to me. I'm sorry to laugh at your younger self Skelly but that one really is good. I feel really bad for your sister tbh. Maybe it's because it reminded me of a time I got locked out of my car. I was 16-17 at the time and I locked my keys inside while going to the post office. Luckily my stepdad put one of those things underneath my car that has a spare. Problem is he's 6'7" with long ass arms so as my short ass reached underneath to get it, I couldn't reach. This resulted in me just sitting on top of my car for 3 hours waiting for my Mom to come get me because I just assumed it wasn't there lol. Thanks for sharing those stories Skelly, I really did enjoy reading those! xD

2024-03-08 07:13:45 +0000 UTCHaha, I can imagine walking on turned off escalators is a bit strange. If there's ever an elevator option I usually opt for that instead, or just regular stairs. It's funny now, but I'll seriously never forgive him for that lost concert opportunity. I don't know the ins and out but what I do know is that my Dad had a lot of girlfriends so...yeah, I blame him for their breakup lol. She was definitely the cooler one there for sure :P I'm surprised nothing happened with the shovel! I mean, I'm glad he's OK but that is still pretty funny lol. I have quite a few stories of little scuffles like that. Nothing too serious but funny looking back on. Both my cousin and I have knocked out the others tooth before so...eye for an eye? Tooth for a tooth? lol. Thankfully they were baby teeth, so they came back in xD

2024-03-08 07:01:07 +0000 UTCOh... yeah about a lot of things are basically messed up with the new gen(or its probably from where I'm at) because there's been listing of a bomb threat before, a creepy gym teacher, shit on a jacket in a locker room toilet, those kids already having children their 8th grade year, and some kid in music told to relax in a room that ended up with the floor having a white... you know what, I'm actually gonna stop that from here because all of it just seems like so wrong to speak of so to those who read this, I'm sorry for making all of this very disturbing and I will take total blame for what I've said. :'( (I'm regretting saying all of this. Please don't hate me) Also Alichu don't call yourself dumb, because in a quote someone told me before: "There are still people pushing on pull open doors." ANYWAYS... I feel you about that part in the family. I was always told by my friends that I'm like a BIG brother to them, which to me was always heartwarming to hear. And its very tough for me to even go outside with my mother because for some information, both me and my older brother are taller than my parents and we both agree that we can't go outside with her because we both agree to this saying: "Mom, please just stop holding my arm, you're scaring the beaches(I would say the legit thing but I feel like that's pushing it here)." Also, I can get that looks can be deceiving. You may be a bit short(technically a hobit as you claim it), but its good to know you are the older sister of the family. For me, one of my father's customers asked him if I was his brother and that just had me chuckle for a bit since that's the first time that I've heard that. And even then, my older brothers friends even though I was my older brother in random places, yet I just have to disappoint them and tell them, "You've got the wrong one, I'm the m

2024-03-08 05:47:42 +0000 UTCOh yes, I may have gotten older but I still am dumb haha! I get the shoe thing too. I never did like escalators even before I fell for that exact reason. The falling just solidified by fear and hatred of them even more lol. My Dad and I had a pretty good relationship but he uhh...how should I say this...REALLY enjoyed his lady friends if you get what I mean lol. It always made me chuckle because he's a huge nerd deep down so I'm not sure where the swag came from. And unfortunately I did not get to go to said concert xD Big sis energy despite being the smallest :') Yet another thing I wasn't granted growing up: being tall like all my other family members. It's hard to come off like the older one now but they all know that I was the one who looked out for them...at least they better >_> lol

2024-03-08 03:47:11 +0000 UTCI'm an idiot now and was an idiot back then- that's the only excuse I have for the escalator lol :') As for the Jr High School "vibing" WTH? When I was in Jr High School I was too busy playing my gameboy and collecting Yu-Gi-Oh cards. There may have been a little of that going on with some students but nothing full on like that. Shit, I remember saying "Ooooo" in that teasing way when someone held hands back then lol. I'm the oldest of my siblings and my cousins so I definitely took on the protective role for sure. I didn't get to see my brother and sister much since we had different moms but there is a pretty big age gap between us, so I think that role came natural. People wouldn't guess that now since I'm the smallest. My family is full of tall people so I don't know what the hell happened with me, runt I suppose lol. But yes, I agree that while they can be extremely irritating, I very much cared for them and stood up for them when I needed to :)

2024-03-08 03:36:17 +0000 UTCSo that Alichu's not alone in sharing silly stories, I'll contribute a few. When I was young, maybe like 8, my class when on a fieldtrip to a nearby park and some idiot decided to kick a beehive and they attacked all of us, and I remember all of us being in the back of a truck and me screaming we're all gonna die. I used to be a big baby but even now I think back on it and cringe and hate myself for just not chilling out, like all I did was make everything worse lol. This one isn't as amusing but I remember being even younger and me and a friend were in line and were were just talking and he suggested that we do opposite day, like in SpongeBob. So I said ok and then I immediately said I hate you, and I still remember how fast his expression changed and he turned around and said "I'm telling on you" I remember being stunned at how dumb that whole interaction was, I mean he was really quick to be like now's my chance to strike. Last one happened much later in life but it's about my sister, she was probably like 16, everybody left the house to go to work/school and she's left alone, and somehow she gets herself locked out of the house. On that day it was kinda cold, so she panics and for some reason decides that the only recourse is to break a window to get in, and what tool did she choose to attempt this? A 2x4, that's right, a plank of wood. Now if that was the course of action you wanted to take, I have no idea why she didn't get any number of tools that were right outside, but no dull plank of wood was her choice. Well even then she wasn't able to pull it off. So she sat outside for like 10 hours not being able to do anything about it. When we got home we asked her why she didn't just go to one of the neighbors and get them to call us, and it was apparent that it had never crossed her mind. To clarify all us kids were fine, even the kid who was allergic to bees, and my sister didn't even get sick, although my dad told her she better have been glad that she wasn't able to break a window cuz he would have been pissed.

2024-03-07 03:26:11 +0000 UTCI don't have a fear of escalators per say but I have seen some of the things that can happen with them and it is defiantly not good lol. Also when I used to go into work before work from home I would get in before the escalators were turned on and walking on turned off escalators feels very strange. Sorry to hear about you missing a concert as a kid. I'm sure your dad had his reasons but I would have also been super bummed about that tbh. Also your story about your cousin remined me of a time that me and my cousin got into a fight and I hit him over the head with a medal shovel. Surprisingly nothing really bad happened, not even any bleeding, but I do remember getting into a lot trouble for it.

2024-03-07 03:02:09 +0000 UTCNot to be mean, but your fear of escalators suddenly made me hear Patrick Star's line, but in "It's just moving there... MENACINGLY!!". Sad how I can relate, I was afraid when I was young that my shoe laces would get stuck in some and then I'd lose my entire shoe or boot. Ah, to be young and dumb... Still am dumb. Ahh, fathers ruining stuff, how relatable as well... *Sigh* They do have that knack, huh? Got to see such a concert in the end? :/ You're the oldest sibling? Hmmmm. A protective one you are then, guess you do give off big-sis energy. Then you will haunt your siblings upon death, becoming a real-life Gengar or Mimikyu! So a blob of darkness with grabby hands, ready to pull us into darkness within darkness. Nice. :3 /jk

2024-03-07 00:12:42 +0000 UTCBruh, how do you even do that, like ik that falling up the stairs is a common thing for me but wow. I remember having to be a third wheel all the time and I'm just hating the fact of doing it because I'm just their to be a "supervisor," or just an Uber driver. For that concert thing, I'm sorry for the L ngl. You were just so close and yet it was all for nothing. Like if you know that she has similar interest with the daughter/son of yours, then that's a guaranteed love life right there like come on. Now that I read vibe in the description, you've just brought something funny that I remembered. My older brother told me about his friends kid that apparently left his like Jr high school to go to a different Jr high school where he could hang out with his girlfriend. They apparently were caught making out and such and when he came back and was questioned of what he was doing, he said, "We were just vibing." Now evertime I hear anyone say vibe, I'm automatically thinking they are just making out and it's just gonna frustrate me from time to time. Here's where I can relate to a lot about the football and being the older sibling Alichu. I remember having to deal with my brother being an irritation to me when he got done with a soccer game, so I legitimately did the same thing you did Alichu which was slam his ass on the ground, only instead of breaking his arm, I apparently made him land his hand on poison ivy in the grass. I think I also just love the fact of someone who just either knows not to be messed with or one that can be serious at times, like you Alichu. As for the older siblings thing, I'm like the middle brother of the other 2 brothers I have and now that the older one has moved out, I've been in nothing but an annoyance from the little one: always just bugging me and such. However, there is one thing I always will tell myself which you would probably agree with: I know that I can always hate him, but I will always have to care for him. I was always there for him when times were tough, he needed a layout of the schools I've went to, and he always insisted on asking if I ever wanted anything when he went out to eat almost everytime. As much as it seems that I never did a lot for him back then, I've done more to make sure he's safer than I am at all cost.
