Ali Ramble: chatting about stuff and writing sounds :P
Added 2024-01-30 14:30:04 +0000 UTCFeel free to listen to me ramble about some life stuff and a recent purchase of mine. I also do some writing and planning towards the end of next week's character ideas- hopefully the writing sounds picked up alright because they sound really good IRL! :)
I also want to say that I do still plan on getting a gaming desktop at some point because I really do want one. It will just take me a little longer than planned but that's alright! Maybe sometime later this year I can start my gaming adventures :P

I remember eating a lot of mashed potatoes and tomato soup when I got mine removed. It was alright in the beginning but got boring quick. Either way, you got this, and I hope recovery goes well :)

Yeah, I would be bummed too since you have been wanting it for so long. Maybe you can play some games on the iPad lol. 2024-02-01 03:11:37 +0000 UTCAs far as I'm aware, I talked with my cousin who had went to the same place he got them removed and he said I should be put to sleep just as they did it for my other surgery. Only thing I'm definitely gonna hate is the aftermath since just like how they did both my older and little brother, we went to a literal buffet where they couldn't eat the solid food they wanted. I think the most tough part about this may be from the fact that I can't really have anything other than soup. And pudding, but pudding apparently is bad whenever it comes to getting the teeth removed. I'm sure I can manage through it though. (Recent Edit: It was just me signing consent forms, the ACTUAL thing is during the 15th of February. As far as I'm aware, they stated that the bottom will be about average to take out while my top half will be as simple as the Alligator audio you did where she had that tooth removed.)

Feeling burnt out is something I really want to avoid at all costs if I can help it. It's alright if your plans changed, sometimes that can be for the better in the long run. I've never tried making a song, but I can imagine it takes a good while so be sure to make something that's fun and you enjoy. As for the tablet purchase, I definitely understand your decision. It's a big choice so make sure you're all good before you commit to it! It doesn't matter if it's now or a year from now there will always be a tablet to buy :) I've never heard of NyanTales but I'll check out their videos! There's a few Hololive and Nijisanji vtubers I watch that do ASMR and they have...how do I say this...a floating/animated picture while they speak? xD I'm not entirely sure what to call it, but I'd really love to do something like if I can learn it. I really love your slideshow idea too- I've thought of something similar! Maybe when I learn more about making videos, I can make a longer one that focuses on that, it sounds like a lot of fun! ^_^ Thanks again for your comment Antoni and I hope you have a good day/night too!

Do you know if you are going to be asleep or not during the procedure? Either way, I hope everything goes well! I'm definitely the type of person where I have a hard time justifying a pricey purchase for myself. If I didn't just get something I knew I'd end up using it for other things instead. I'm sure other people are like that too- save up for something, can't make a decision, ends up using that money for bills/food instead haha! As for the whiskey, I didn't drink too much- just enough to make me good and sleepy! :P

And yes, you are right about the editing software names! I knew it was cut something or other. I'm a little bummed about the gaming computer but I know I can always get one later. It will be nice to have a drawing tablet that's portable and doesn't need to be hooked up to a computer for once lol. Until I'm able to play keep recommending me some games! :P

As people, we must unite in times of emotional hardship - especially in ones every person goes through. I wish the best for your family and yourself during this time, Ali. On that note, I think you've made a good decision. Heck, no one would complain if you do go idle during this upcoming period. But we massively respect that you still desire to keep it going at a slower pace to fill up the time you'll have. This goes without saying; should anything change, prioritise what you need to. Always put yourself first (real life, work, friends & family), and your persona second (channel, posts, roleplays). That's why it's ALI-chu. "Ali" comes first ;) I can definitely relate to change of plans occurring this month. You might've noticed I didn't meet my target of finishing my song this month. But on the bright side, it's because I decided to work on something a little different! I also am probably not going to be getting that tablet for a while. I can if I really want to, but I need to make sure I secure a stable income before I make such an investment. I know you understand because you've talked to me about the nerves of making big purchases before. Hehe, you can count on me to look forward to that grizzly bear roleplay! As for your thinking aloud part to this ramble, I actually found it a little more relaxing. It's more ramble-y than the ramble itself in a way, because you're just letting words roll out of your mouth with minimal thought. I liked that! That idea about small animations in ASMR roleplays sounds interesting. There are some examples of how this is executed; one particular channel that immediately comes to my mind is NyanTales ASMR. I don't listen to her, but I really like how her videos are composed - captivating that idea of 'making a video (that technically isn't a video) more of a video'. Regarding this, I have an idea of my own. It was kinda done before (but not with drawn art as far as I know). Basically, if you want more of a 'video'-video, you could essentially create a slideshow. As the script moves along; the background scene changes, character pose changes, maybe the character changes clothes - all according to the script. It could be as few as just 2 or 3 different 'stages'/parts. Make this known in your title (e.g. "picture story") and it may attract some new eyes & ears keen to check out what you've cooked up. I can guarantee new subscribers impressed by your work - which is the only con of this idea. It will indeed be more work, and take more time. But if you're eager to try something a little more advanced, perhaps this can be an occasional "special" roleplay. Just an idea! Thanks a lot for reading! Currently, tomorrow I've gotta get my Wisdom Teeth removed and I've got a small checkup to the doctors (To make it simple, everything is just ok, but this ain't about me, its about Alichu). I feel bad for that family member of yours Alichu. Hopefully they get better. I feel like I get that sometimes when I buy something expensive since it's like you buy something that's pricey, yet the amount of money left over just needs to be stored, unless you just wanna go double down and use it basically. In this case, you just were like, "This is the best and probably the only thing I'm gonna afford for the time being." I'm pretty sure the wiskey is getting to you when you tried to pronounce "Lovey-dovey," and "Valentine," even if you did just had 1 uhh... I'd say 3 second taste of wiskey. Because I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be from you accidentally just struggling with how the word is said or just the tounge twister.

I'm not surprised Apple charged so much and separately, but as it stands them of Samsung are the top brands for tablets like that. The ideas you had sound cool, and making animated illustrations would be cool.

Super reasonable choice to get something that will help in your immediate future and video games can always wait! Also at least it seems like it was good purchase, even if it is taking a bit to learn everything. I think the editing software you mentioned were Filmora and Final Cut Pro. I enjoyed the writing sounds and it was neat to hear some of the thought process you do for your videos even if it was a relatively short amount of time. Also the ending of this truly did reach the point of rambles lol. Not that I'm complaining about it or anything. Hope you are able to draw something for yourself! Especially since it is close to your birthday!
