Song of the week is the same band I mentioned in my hornet audio on youtube! This is my favorite song by them though- Avatar "Lullaby (Death All Over)"
Random but this song always makes me think of the WoW BFA expansion lol. If anyone remembers doing the mask runs in Orgrimmar and Stormwind- I played this song constantly trying to get all the achievements.

But I also think that it makes it nearly impossible for new people to start lol. The entire series has a lot of good music so I'll defiantly recommend more in the future. But they have had consistently good music since even back in the early 2000s. Particularly there is an old song that I really like but I also just adore the name of it lol. It's called "Worthless as the Sun above Clouds" from Guilty Gear 2

Loved the lyrics in that one especially- thanks for sharing! ^_^ Funny you mentioned music while falling asleep- I've been re-reading LoTR and listening to the soundtrack (which I fell asleep to last night) xD

2024-01-23 03:52:30 +0000 UTCI only play hardcore and SOD at the moment and even then I haven't had much time lately ; o ; Retail just isn't my thing much nowadays. I agree with Asmon that it needs some sort of reset. If they just decided to wipe it clean and keep all our achievements as "legendary" ones or something I'd be down for that. The current game just has too much stuff and it doesn't feel special anymore- just my opinion though! If the game's music is like that then by all means recommend more- I really liked it! I swear some games have the best music, I felt that way about dot hack back in the day lol.

I like it, and it's on my official "sleepy time" playlist (in a good way, I'm a weirdo who listens to music to sleep sometimes, if I'm not already listening to an Alichu video 😆. But seriously, you should see some of the other songs on that playlist lol).

Also not playing WoW myself doesn't help since I'm not too familiar with the actual things he was doing lol. I have heard that Dragonflight is good, although idk if you play retail tho or if your still playing classic. Also glad to hear you liked the song! There will probably be a lot more Guilty Gear Strive (and prior games in the franchise) song recommendations in the future when I don't have anything specific to recommended. I listen to song from that franchise near daily lol.

There were good things though- the mask/vision runs being a big one for me! You may remember Asmon's journey to getting the mail muncher in that expansion too lol. The pvp was so broken that it was a joke. It was kinda fun though because RNG would kick in from corrupted gear and just annihilate someone- no skill required at all. It sucked but it was kinda entertaining xD I can see why that song was your most played in 2022- that was really good! I love the switch up a little after the beginning, completely changed the vibe and I loved that!

It took me a bit to recognize that song but now I remember! Funny thing about me and A7X: I use to really not like them when I was younger aside from a few songs lmao xD The lead singer's voice now is much more appealing to me. I don't know if it's because they are older or what, but I like them a lot. Now that I'm older I like going back and listening to their old stuff- I'm not as stuck up about music as I used to be lol. **edit because I hit enter too soon lol

First time in a long time that I really wish the weekend was longer. The song was really good! I don't know if I remember it correctly or not but wasn't BFA kinda bad? I feel like I remember seeing a lot of Asmon clips talking about it lol. I haven't really been playing anything with notable music lately so I'm just gonna recommended one of my old favorites. Mirror of the World or Baiken's Theme from Guilty Gear Strive is my recommendation this week. It was also my most listened to song during 2022 lol.

It was cool but the music was a different style of metal to what we wanted. Didn't stop us from sticking around and drinking though. lol Lullaby was freakin' epic! I see why it's your favourite from them. Love that choir in there! For my recommendation; "Dreamstate" by REZZ x Tim Henson x Silverstein.
