I don't remember but I think he followed me outside in this picture lol. Since we were talking about pets I thought I would share a picture of him and how cute he was. I think he may have been an "applehead" Siamese since he had a rounder face. Doesn't matter though, all cats are adorable :3
I'll be making another post here later tonight since today's youtube audio was a character suggestion by one of you lovely patrons! I hope you all enjoy the sleepy sloth and your new mattress :P

I'm not really too sure why everyone has gone back to it, for reference Monster Hunter Rise is the most recent one in the series, but I never played the DLC for Monster Hunter World so I have been taking advantage of the timing to do that now. Also yeah about the music, it plays only when you are in combat. So if a monster runs away or you leave it's area the music will stop. Makes sense that you would keep hearing it repeatedly lol. Safi'jiiva is defiantly very cool, he also has a lot more mechanics than most other fights in the game. Although, at the point he's at in the game most of it the fights are a bit a of a pain in the ass tbh. But still fun to fight against with friends

My cat definitely loved getting his treats and food lol. I couldn't leave any food unattended because he would for sure eat it. Hell, he even ate lettuce off a sandwich one time! Whenever someone would come over or if he went to the vet, they'd all say, "How beautiful!" or "How cute!" and he ate that shit up lol. As for the game, I recognized it because I just fell asleep last night watching Asmon play it haha! Not because it was boring but because I just put his streams on when I go to bed. It seemed really fun though! I admit there were times where some music played as I was trying to sleep and I was like "wtf is that?" It kept going- dun, dun, dun but with more hype to it lol. I'm going to guess it was whenever he entered combat. Safi'jiiva's theme was damn cool though- I watched a fight scene of it and loved it! Towards the end looked like a pain in the ass at some parts. I suck at getting out of the way in games- you can imagine people love to raid with me in WoW :P

I will say that song was beautiful though, I loved it! If I can find that movie somewhere I'm going to give it a watch- love me a good old anime movie :) I can relate to your grandma, I've always owned cats because I just love them so much. This is the longest I've been without having one and I'm starting to feel cat deprived (yes, that is a thing I swear!) lol.

I hope your day was filled with good food, cake and presents ^_^ I listened to Starfall and it was very good! Definitely had that anime vibe to it. It kinda made me think of a series called "Made in Abyss" in the beginning. That series is drawn very cute, but the story is dark so proceed with caution as a heads up lol. I will say it has some music in it that I think you'd like though so if you're curious you may enjoy the OST of it :)

Also since he's a cat, he would probably get a big ego boost from being shown off to the world lol. Although I have never seen Lain, I know this song very well. It autoplays a lot when I am listening to anime openings on YouTube. It's very good! My recommendation this is from a game that my friends and I have decide to go back to after many years. It is Safi'jiiva's theme from Monster Hunter World: Iceborne. I think most uploads of it are quite long because it has 2 versions of it's theme. One for the fight in general and one for when Safi'jiiva is looking at your character specifically which is much more anxiety filled and even has a heartbeat sound backing.

My grandma used to own many cats (I think it was at least 7 at one point), and I know she had a siamese at one point too (there's a reason I know that for sure, but that's a story for another day). I was listening to the song you recommended today, figuring it was from Lain (sorry still not watched it yet), and I can't lie, it sounds very familiar to me, even though I can't bring anything prominent forward that screams yes I have. I may have mentioned it before, but I have a pretty big soft spot for softer rock songs, I'll sometimes even sleep to them, but that's not something I'll admit publicly lol. I'm trying to keep my recommendations similar to the theme of yours, so today I'm going to recommend 'Grace Omega' by Mizoguchi Hajime. You may already know where it's from, but this anime is by far one of the best I have ever watched.

To answer your earlier question, the concert is on the 14th - I may consider it a late present! haha That was a nice song. I obviously had to look up what anime it was from, and to no surprise; 'Serial Experiments Lain'. How didn't I guess that? lol Can't wait for all the music I'll discover this year. My recommendation today is one of my best highlights from 2023; Trivecta's remix of 'Starfall' by ILLENIUM. It's not from an anime for I do not know any - but it hits the feels which I know is something anime is good at!
