Added 2023-12-19 00:50:31 +0000 UTCHappy Monday everyone, I hope your week is off to a good start! The closer it gets to Christmas the more crowded it's becoming while being out- grocery shopping has been a nightmare, even more so than work lol.
So this week I had a certain character idea in mind. I'm sure it's obvious at this point that I have a bit of favoritism towards certain types of characters- a big one being girls who love books. Thus, I want to do another librarian/bibliomaniac type :P Let me know the type of personality you want our nerd to have which will of course determine how the roleplay goes!
As for question of the week I feel it's necessary for me to ask the obvious: What do you want for Christmas? Some of you already answered this recently on my last video, but feel free to comment again if maybe there's something you thought of since then or just something you want in general ^_^

That's fine, all games are good games if you had fun playing them! It also would not be the first time I've heard of something like that you little fujoshi lol. Art is defiantly somewhat of a factor, although not in that way, I just like looking at things that nice. My major factor though is if they have something interesting in it, either gameplay or story wise. Interesting doesn't have to be good either tbh, reading some cringe is very funny sometimes.

I very much liked the dating sim type games or visual novels. Some normal and some uhh...boys love, that's all I'll say lol. I never discriminated- if the art was good, I tried it haha!

As for Baldurs Gate 3 lol I haven't played that, but I see so... so many memes on Facebook that usually involves a player wildshaped into a bear ... and the mindflayer... lol I've been playing a lot of heavily modded Fallout 4, and Starfield myself, along with Into the Radius on my VR setup (absolutely terrifying) and Blade and Sorcery lol

2023-12-21 20:46:34 +0000 UTCYeah some games do hold their value way longer than they should, but also anything Nintendo made hardly ever get discounts in particular. Now I will defend myself a bit and say that 102 is a little deceptive. Some of those games were just me and my friends playing something on sale for a few hours and then never looking at again. But there is also quite a bit of those games that I play through the entire story of. Also this is not to defend myself, but I do want to point out that the two major NSFW games I played (Monster Girl 1000 and Princess & Conquest) are both really fun games. Like even outside of their NSFW content, they are just enjoyable video game experiences.

It's crazy how even older titles are still pricey- it doesn't make too much sense to me that Let's Go Pikachu and Eevee is still full retail value for example lol. I just finished reading your prior Warhammer comment, thanks again for the video! I've always had a bit of a curiosity in it so if I get some time I'll need to deep dive into it :) I'm not really using my degree at the moment either. It's a business degree so I learned a lot, but I haven't had a chance to really utilize it yet- perhaps in the future though! Also, I checked out your steam review and holy shit- 102 games?! Damn, gamer legend xD I couldn't help but check out the nsfw games (curiosity killed the cat lol) and they seem neat too- monstergirls ftw :P

Other than that, I really want to try Baldur's Gate 3. Lies of P looked pretty good too so I may try that also ^_^ This is just a few though. 2023-12-21 07:48:09 +0000 UTCOh sorry if that made it seem like I had to work on Christmas. I just have Mon/Tues off instead of what I thought (Fri/Mon). Although since I posted the original comment, it seem like I might have to work a half day on Saturday which is annoying but not too bad. Yeah Rogue Trader is a lot of reading so that took up most of the time. I was surprised how long it was still though since it was $50 and not the usual $60. So I had expected it to be a little shorter lol. But it makes sense, as I mentioned in my reply on the sandworm video, there is just so much Warhammer 40K lore and they pack a lot of it in this game for people unfamiliar with the setting. It was really nice for me since I just knew surface level stuff from my friends talking to me about it. For college/uni I also sometimes forget that I went and I got my Bachelors Degree! It's mainly cause I'm just not using my degree per say, like my current job has nothing to do with my degree but I did need a degree of any kind to get my job. Also this isn't related to anything but Steam put out there year in review today! So if you or anyone else is curious how big a nerd I am then this is probably the most complete way to see lol. This year has been amazing for video games though so I have no regrets. Also there is a few NSFW games on there but they aren't the focus of any part. Thought I would give a warning still tho. I like it to be just busy enough where it's not hectic lol but that's good for you with your job! And agreed, big time, and thanks! I've always enjoyed seeing people's faces when I either buy or draw them something- it's a nice feeling. I do like that idea you have about the character; I'll try to give that some thought while writing this week! :)

As for the Rouge Trader game, damn- 115 hours, that's impressive! I take it that was a pretty lengthy storyline then? I feel you on the student loan thing. I don't think I've talked about it much, but I did go to uni for a bit. I sometimes forget that I even did (weird thing for me to forget I know lol). To anyone struggling with it though, I wish the best. I'll have a chat with Santa's elf- maybe she can help us all out :P

That's why I always tell people I actually enjoy when it's busy- it makes my shift go by faster and I can go home! That's pretty much how a lot of my weeks have been lately, fast and busy so no big complaints :) As for Christmas presents, I think it's good to get yourself something. And that goes for anyone else that may be reading too- everyone deserves at least a little something for themselves, so I'm happy to hear you bought some car parts :) As for what I want, I've been saving for a gaming PC the past few months. I may need to wait until after the holidays to buy it though- in stock items are becoming a little sparse now lol.

Then I read the next sentence about your wrist and realized it was another type of bow. I'm sorry to hear about your wrist though, that stinks! I hope that it recovers smoothly and you're able to enjoy your Christmas gift as soon as possible. I still remember the pain of using one when I was younger and it snapping back on me- that is truly a pain like no other.

I've been in a couple of car accidents and that is not something I ever want to deal with again. As for your surgery, I very much hope that it goes well. Here's hoping that everything goes smoothly, and you don't have to stay any longer than necessary! I've seen a few clips of the game you mentioned and that's one I'd like to play myself sometime. I really like the art and I like dark humor too so it's a win/win. And you should know by now that there's no such thing as corny here in my home. You could even say that all I want for Christmas is..."chu" :P

I'll be honest I don't really like getting gifts, don't get me wrong I like stuff it ain't like I'm altruistic, but it just feels weird to be given a gift. I have next Monday and Tuesday off instead. But I finally finished Rouge Trader after 115 hours and I just feel tired now that it's done after putting so much time into it. It was still really fun but I'm thankful that the next thing I plan to play is much shorter than that. For the question, what I want is a fuck ton of money to pay off my student loans lol, but my actual answer is nothing. I have pretty much everything I want and am pretty content other than that student loan issue. Friends and family will probably still get me things tho and I'll still appreciate whatever I am given, just nothing I actually want.

Also, a fan of all those types of characters, so no matter what it's a win! As for what I want for Christmas... what I really want, is a bit depressing ^^; and as I know I won't be getting any Christmas gifts from anyone, I bought myself car parts to make it more capable offroad lol what do you want?

But then in some cruel twist of fate I broke my wrist a few weeks back so now I won't even be able to use it until late Jan probably. The timing is kinda funny, in a cosmic sort of way.

That's awful that your brother got into an accident but I'm glad that everyone is okay at least. The catching up on ASMR thing I can relate to. My internet and phoneline have been going on/off due to unsynchronization of signals or whatever it was the service provider said. A highly-skilled engineer is appointed to come to my home to re-calibrate them. All that techy stuff can be frustrating when you don't quite understand it. Anyway, I've gone off on a tangent. Thanks for sharing that with us, and I hope you'll recover in time to be home for a very fulfilling Christmas with family this year!

I have to give my older brother my car since he got into am accident(he's fine, no bruises on him nor the other person), I have to do some catching up on the asmr you've been posting that I've liked, and finally, and also the worse one, I have to deal with getting surgery done this Wednesday and I have no clue how it is even gonna feel. Worst case scenario is that if I bleed too much leads to me staying at the hospital for a day or two. Also, I'm very interested in a lot of detailing in some video games recently. Started getting into watching The Coffin of Andy and LeyLey(TCOAAL), and I started liking a lot of the gameplay of it. Really feeds the dark humor of what I enjoy. And to finally answer the question, all I want for Christmas... is you. (On the real though, I've already been trying to gift others anyway so that's why I honestly just said that. Yes I am very Corny or something idk.)
