Happy Friday everyone! I hope you all have an amazing weekend :) Update on my last post, I did manage to do some cleaning in my place last night and now I'm sore xD In typical fashion I hurt my back trying to clean stuff- it sucks being short.

Cool! The card opening viideos have been nice to listen to/watch before so I'll look forward to it. If you do that though hopefully you don't get too lucky (unlucky?) and get basically only Mimikyus lol

Speaking of Pokémon, I got some cards that I'll be opening soon. I'm going to try and make a video since some of them are Halloween themed. The set is really small though so maybe I'll make a game where I'll take a drink every time I pull a Mimikyu or something xD

2023-10-09 06:40:40 +0000 UTCYeah, cleaning can be a major pain for everyone! Also I do agree, I usually try to do gatcha events as soon possible to avoid what I am doing this weekend lol. However, it didn't actually take as long as I thought yesterday so I got to play some board games with friends again this weekend, in particular more of "Pokémon: Legends of Sinnoh" again if you saw my reply from last week. We have been loving it! We also played a game called Void Crew which is very neat. You and your friends pilot a space ship as well as all of it's internal systems and do various quests. It's in Early Access so there's not to much to do in it now but we will return to it when it has more.

I was kinda making myself sad thinking about the victims. To be fair I did just watch "The Menu" movie the other day. I think it came out a little while writing because that movie made me cry ;_; I have no shame admitting that this time lol. Totally understand the wrinkled shirt issue. I constantly complain about things like that but I'm the one that does it to myself- a vicious cycle indeed xD

I didn't want it to be too loud or distracting but we must get over our fears! lol. I hope you had a nice vacation. Hopefully you got some nice time to chill and relax. Greek mythology is really cool. Some stories are weird as hell but I like it! I'm glad you enjoyed the audio Skelly, thank you! ^_^

It bothered me for a long time, but it's been so long now that it doesn't scare me too much anymore. Hell, maybe I scare her now and she decided to leave me alone lol. Still a good story to creep everyone else out though hehe! :P

At first I was thinking maybe she meant the snakes that make up her hair where her children but then when she pulled out the gems and told the story I realized it’s probably best to head on out of the island. At least Medusa seems motherly though!

Anyway, “Here I Go Again” with my comment. Lot of cool takes on the Medusa concept. The stone stare being willful makes the power a lot more functional, and the kind of stone being unique to the victim is pretty creative. Ultimately I kind of agree that what she’s doing is more merciful than malicious. She’s offering a painless, gentle way to leave life behind. Honestly doesn’t sound so bad. Even if listener-san wasn’t down with it, at the very least bro coulda got that free dinner before dipping Good on you for following through with the cleaning, motivating yourself to do chores can be a real task sometimes. For me it’s putting away my clean clothes. I have a bad habit of leaving them in the hamper, then being mad about my wrinkled shirts. It’s a vicious cycle lol

I also recently-ish did a big cleaning of my room and was very sore the next day. I can imagine being short being an issue but I am also too tall personally lol. It hurts my back to lean over to pick everything up. This weekend is going to very boring for me. I have to do a few Gatcha game events that I have been putting off for a month and now I have to do it all at once. Hope you and everyone else have better weekends than me lol.

You did good on giving her a femme fatale sounding voice. Also, well done on the cleaning. Get plenty of rest this weekend (sounds like you could use a massage). Hope you have a good weekend as well. Tomorrow will be my last full day at my current vacation spot, then Sunday will drive to the airport town, and head back home on Monday.

Fun fact the Greeks would paint the head of a gorgon(what medusa is) on their shields to scare the opposing force. Btw this is a great video, something about snake hair girl mythology with Alichu singing is so calming.

I totally expected the usual green, but this white & red colouration is really pretty on this girl! Nice work. I liked this one, I've never thought of the idea that a Medusa-type character makes 'art' of her work. And she makes them different types of stone, different colours, shapes & sizes. Pretty cool stuff. There's been a lot of relation to 'eyes' and 'ghosts' - with this audio and the ghoul audio. Perhaps your recent horror story has sneakily influenced your themes. I may be going on a limb here, but I hope the image of you-know-who hasn't been stuck in your head lately and causing negative effects? Maybe I'm just too paranoid, but sometimes I feel I'm not the only one feeling this way. All the more reason I'm comforted by these audios and art. They're like friendlier interpretations of usually-monstrous species, this character is a perfect example.
