I think apex has been infiltrated long before the hacker. I say this only because is it possible to use the chips to not only control person's mind but also their perception like they believe they're in one place but instead they're somewhere else? If so is it possible to hacker was trying to warn them?

What was the reasoning behind implementing such a feature and how could someone take control of this? Your chanting is an interesting side effect, I wonder what it means in the larger scope of things.

Director : Alright, we know that nobody can just 'walk in' to the M.A.D. control room, so unless we've been infiltrated by ninjas, someone has to have used their card to get access and mess around. Tho, that doesn't preclude the possibility they weren't operating under their own agency... Anyway, do we have any door log system to track card swipes? That'll quickly tell us who has had access. Agent R : Sweep the area for clues, but also see if you can access the console and find a 'Master List' of all active MAD chips.

I think what ever is mind controlling people has to be burnt in your presence to have an effect and it must pertain to the sense of smell because it is giving the imposters past representations of trustworthy faces for the victims.

OK, so as far as we know, what we're dealing with here is some form of cult that turns people into utterly smoking hot, daddified versions of their former selves, and it has something to do with cannibalism in some way. Other than that there's not much we know. There's a lot of stuff happening behind the curtains within the facility and in Dusk Acres that we have no clue about. That is what we're here to find out, but we don't have many leads. We don't know much about either of the character's backstories or their motivations beyond looking for Otis. We know Allister looks up to him as a mentor and father figure, and that Frank doesn't like him much, but is doing so because it is his job and he wants to find out more about his father and possibly have him apologize for being bad to him when he was earlier. I want to see more interactions between characters. That is what will make me love this story. I want to see the characters not just be professionals and/or horny zonked puppets. I wanna see either Frank and Allister having a heartfelt moment, Allister admitting his crush for Otis and/or Frank talking about why he hates his father in some way. Frank: Do you hate your father? Allister: What was the one thing Otis do for you that made you like him so much?
