And Other Duties As Required - Status Update

Here's me thinking, "Okay, I promised the 22nd and it's looking like that's not the case so I'll do an update letting everybody know," only to discover that I had projected the 14th as the initial date! I'm completely embarrassed.
Status update: I'm about half a draft and a coat of polish away from finishing. I hope to be done the draft by the end of the week and then get the polish all applied next week, so the new expected date is the 29th. Current wordcount is 13,500 and that's probably going to get up a little higher.
I thank you all for your patience. Endings are tricky, but I want to give this one a good send off!
