Plans for 0.28

It's Violet!

Yep, we've got a lot to talk about with what's happening in version 0.28 so strap yourselves in.
The focus of version 0.28 is going to be, yep you guessed it, Violet. The long awaited Violet update is finally in the works along with a major overhaul and some other improvements.

Firstly, I want to say that this update is going to require us having a two-month development period for it releasing it to our Patrons on New Years. That overhaul I mentioned has a lot to do with that decision among other things that you'll find out in the segments below, so let's get into it.

Writing:
We're going to be shooting for at least 8 new Violet scenes. 4 for the Dom route and 4 for the Sub route. With this update we also want to try making art for the scenes as they are made so that when you get the update you'll have new scenes to go along with her, doing this we want to see the feasibility of a workload like this, and if it would even be possible in a one month period.
Our secondary writer will be working on some new phones scenes for you all to experience with the new overhaul once everything on that front gets tested and polished out more.

Artwork:
As mentioned in the writing segment we'll be attempting to make the art as the scenes are finished with Violet, since writing for Violet has just started our artists are occupying their time by working on a CG Scene for the Route Lock event in the Bakery. As of right now we don't know how much art we'll be able to pump out in the two months that we'll have for this update.

Technical:
Now the big one, one of the main reasons for the decision for a two month development period is that we're finally overhauling the phone system that Uni uses. The current one is really clunky and it's functionality is severely limited, so we're making a new one with all new fancy things it can do.
The messaging system will be easier for us to make new text scenes, plus use images in the messages as well, the current system allows images to be used in the phone, however, the picture needs to be manually severely downscale to fit the phone screen, now this will be done in-engine and the player will be able to click on it to fullscreen the image.
You will be able to use the phone whenever you want with a button that allows you to pull it out, or you can use the up arrow on your keyboard for computer players.
Another mechanic coming into player that will use our event system is the contacts list in the phone. As you meet new characters and get their phone number you can message them whenever, they may or may not respond and in the beginning we won't have many scenes written for it, but it'll be there.
Lastly, on the phone will include a image gallery of all the images sent and received through the messages. There are a few other things we're thinking about doing with the phone, but they may not be doable right now since the overhaul itself is going to be a pain to get completed anyway.

That's the majority of the plans for 0.28, we have a lot to do and we couldn't be able to do it without your support. Every bit helps get these updates out and I thank you all every time I see your names come up.
