i've had small pause because i've updated my workstation. Performance pretty same and i've took my graphic card from previous pc. But now it's even more compact than my precious cube pc. So it will be not a pain in ass to move from one rent apartment to another.
It's a Beelink GTi14 with Beelink External GPU Docking Station (PCIe×16 Slot with PCiex8 speed). Got it during big Chinese sale on AliExpress with a good discount. Station can handle graphic cards until RTX 4080-4090 (built in 600w power supply).
I need to do tests, but at this moment i don't see performance loss on my RTX 4060ti, at least in furmark2 and ai tasks. Need to download blender and some games to be sure.
Some specs of this tiny box. Intel Ultra9 185H (mobile chip), 32G DDR5, 1TB SSD, WiFi-7, Bluetooth-5.4, Fingerprint sensor, some fast usb ports and TB4. Supports ssd upgrade, ram upgrade.
Why i don't bought notebook? because notebooks with same specs hella expensive.
Beelink GTi14 cost me 850$. GPU Docking Station 100$. i've had desktop graphic card so it don't cost me any extra. And maybe in future, if i'll have money for something alongside rent and food, i'll buy 4080 or 4090. That would be ultimate working setup for my tasks.
