This was going to be just random Patreon fodder but when we looked up writing prompts [even behind a couple paywalls] we hated what we were finding. So in the the true spirit of being the change I wanted to see, I vowed that I [along with my trusty partner Flynn] would remedy this issue with that signature drR[izz] speciality.
[Fun] Fact: the voice actor who portrays drR has [mild] dyslexia. I'm sure you've noticed if you catch a post early enough. No matter how many times I proofread, errors will make it through. Let the ones that remain in this document serve as a reminder that perfection is the enemy of artistic exercise.
You have the option of joining me [us] and sharing stories from the same prompt. If you chose to get in on the group action, you don't even have to stick to the prompt! Feel free to post something inspired by the prompt in place of the actual verbatim lines. The point is to have fun and be creative so if you're trying, you're doing it right. Do 'em all in a month. Do one a year. Make up your own! Bend, break, and obliterate all the rules you need/want to so you can make some shit up with your online [sex] buddies.
I think I'll pick a prompt this Sunday. I need some time to try and figure out which spicy drop is next :)

Then each following week I'll do the same for a year. I think on each one I should *say* what the following prompt will be. On IG ? Or should we set up a google drive ? ( or is there something set up already that my mildly ADHD brain missed?)

Thematically, probably would've made more sense the first way but wouldn't you rather be festooned on and island than marooned? There's a really dumb nursery rhyme in there somewhere

Marking, Kora, did you hear that? But I felt restless. I could feel him niggling at the back of my mind. That bloody shadow mage. Why did he have to throw me a bad boy shadow mage of all things, ey? I could feel his energy coalescing at the fringe of my mindscape, like dark mist pervading my thoughts, like some hunger in my body that was hard to ignore. I turned back to the assignment on my screen and tried again. “Symptomer på vaskulær demens..”. Who was I even kidding? I would have no peace until I had written something and put it out there. And then what, Kora? An exhibitionistic wait for people to like you, for him to like you? I looked down at my desk. “Exactly that,” I confessed in a small voice. It wasn’t like there was anyone to stop me. Hells, even I wasn’t stopping myself anymore these days, all those tight bonds of self control now nothing but flimsy threads. I fidgeted in my office chair. The pull in my belly and the gnawing ache in my shoulders were becoming more and more difficult to push out of my awareness. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. I heard Nexus’s voice in my mind. “Just surrender to the moment, Kora. Just feel what you’re feeling.” The wing tips burst out from my shoulder blades, making me cry out briefly. As the wings unfolded, a wave of pure bliss rolled through my body. “Fuck this!” I hissed. And breathed, finally breathed. I opened up my googledoc, the writing prompt already waiting for me. I’d never been kidding anyone.
