They grabbed the bourbon. Not too sweet and not too fancy. One ice cube ker-plunked into the glass.

The bottle says Kentucky
They took a sip
"Well?"
It'd be kind of like that show - Undercover Boss?
"I don't watch TV. You're the only one here who watches TV. That's what I'm saying. I think you need to get a little air and see how things have changed. Not try and gauge things from a television show"
I could do a knight again. Shiny black armor. Black horse. Maybe some... I dunno, fire?
"No."
They sighed and took another sip.
Yeah. I know. I just like the knight...
"I know you do"
There was a beat.
"We all like the knight"
They smiled a little
"You haven't tried one where you just blend in for a while, yea?"

"Gives you the chance to live a little"

"Like, [Mort] for short? Is that a joke?"

They finished their drink.
