This is also their first appearances ever, so these are count as character designs and concepts for them too, especially Madi. 😁

More Than Meets The Eyes of course. 😅

"Just as a disclaimer, Cephalon is not an animal, he is what’s known as a Natural Being, and he has the full mental capacity and physical maturity of a human. Natural Beings are different from Humans in a few ways, with one of the main factors being physiology, instead of having bodies made from physical matter like organs and water, they have bodies made of pure energy. That does allow them to be more flexible, for the most part they retain a humanoid shape, but they can change their shape easily with practice. There are limits, they need enough condensed energy to achieve the right shape. For example, in this situation, Cephalon has to use so much of his energy to make his tentacles long enough to hold Madi, that he has to shrink his normally humanoid body into a smaller and more simple shape to conserve energy, hence his head looking more octopus-like than usual.
Madi and Cephalon are a young married couple who met a few years back on a shared mission of defending a seemingly barren desert territory alongside a few other allies. Madi is an experienced wilderness survivalist who lives in her cabin in a forest.
She is a confident and calm person, a great friend to be around and very supportive to Cephalon. When she was young she lived with her Grandfather, who died while scavenging for resources in a blizzard. The trauma from that past time leaves her unmotivated and existential at times, which is why she needed a change of pace, and left home to find something new to do. Cephalon is a member of a notorious and powerful warrior family. He is extremely socially anxious, and often believes he is an inconvenience to others, and tries his best to pull his weight and make his friends and family proud.
Not that he has exerted himself to achieve that, as it is ridiculously strong and talented at battling. His father wants him to carry on the family legacy, but has never been proud or accepting of him, not by any fault of Cephalon. To get stronger, he snuck away from home to try a new training style. And that’s where they met each other, after some time, a few good dates, and successfully defending the territory from an onslaught of warriors for quite some time, they have grown a strong bond and love for each other. They are very supportive of each other, and like to try fun couples activities.
And now, it’s Madi and Cephalon’s 2nd Anniversary, and what better way to spend it than some quality time together. Today they’ve decided to shake things up a bit, Madi is donning her special outfit, and Cephalon is going to go for a hands on approach, or tentacles as the case may be. His long and firm tentacles are perfect for wrapping around Madi’s body, and even giving her a little massage. Though it may be quite a test of his flexibility and reach, it's worth it to get to appreciate his wife’s beautiful body. And she loves it, it feels nice to be in his embrace, just relaxing and letting it all happen. She might be safe, but she can’t resist the temptation to squirm and struggle a bit, just to make the experience more enjoyable for the both of them."
