See Doc [Write?]

When I was doing research on VA's who work in this field I was not at all surprised to find out most folks didn't write or type out scripts.  It's good form to let the mic capture that spontaneity.  The mapping/outline method is great way to ensure you keep telling true lies instead of phony ones.  Plus, sometimes the story will surprise you with where it goes [*cough* Anniversary Gift *cough*]

Add one part memory, two parts gravel, and three parts of genuine connection (if you don't have any genuine connection available try stretching a bit or having a nice meal.  It's amazing what yoga and nutrients can do for the body).  Set in a loose story structure and bring to a boil.  Once boiling, set to simmer.   

Details are great but don't over season.  Small snippets are often better than large chunks.  Spark the imagination but don't force it.  You can lead a horse to water but it's better when you just sort of point in the general direction of the river and mention that we all get thirsty sometimes.  

And this part here is paramount - if it feels safe or if you are too confident you're doing it wrong.  Fear adds flavor.  Too much fear, and the vulnerability spills over and the verisimilitude will not hold.  However, not enough fear and the flavor becomes flat and tasteless.  If you don't add a dash of arrogance, the flavors won't blend properly. 

Benefits:  most meals will make themselves with gentle guidance.  Detriments:  you will never know if it's good until someone you care about tries it [proud as you may be].

Tips are 10% of the way to that second mic.  I'm selling some minis I painted on eBay (link on Insta - I know I should just paste it here but aesthetically it's just so long and ugly).  There is a small part of me that is still [yes - still] reeling from that audio I listened to yesterday.  [You're saying that I sometimes do that to you?  Can't think about that too much - keep the feet on the floor and the head at a reasonable size]

Commission work today then running a game of Dungeons and Dragons at a bar.  If I have a voice tomorrow, you'll get a Quinn drop Friday.  If I don't, I'll scatter some goodies throughout the weekend and you'll hear [one of your] scripts Tuesday.  Excited to try my hand at someone else's recipe.
