Airports are fun like that. They sort of break the rules with their moving climax (make your own joke). There’s the ‘inciting incident’ when we arrive at the terminal. The ‘rising action’ as the plane, well… you get it. The ‘denouement’ of descent. The ‘resolution’ of parking at your new-temporary-final destination. But the climax revolves around others. It’s the kiss goodbye. The hug hello. The eye contact mid-flight with that person one aisle over. The low, welcome silence embracing you from the backseat of an uber.

Anyways, the audio? More or less based on a true story

Single malt for me. From Islay, if possible. Laphroaig, if possible(r). Sherry Cask if possible(st). And those little metal cubes that aren’t ice but have taken over the ice’s job the way robots will soon have mine. Those too. In fact, fuck it - two of those. I just love that they don’t melt.
