To My New Patrons in June

About up front charge and my new plan.

To my patrons:

Hello everyone, this is Kaidou. Because some reason, I will using up front charge, a new charging method. This change has no effect on my patrons who subscribed to me before this month (you have paid!), but will cause new patrons this month be charged for cost of tiers in June, and not early next month.

Firstly, In past few months, some patrons subscribed my Patreon and asked me the password of pictures packages, and then they immediately cancelled patronage. In current charging method, They did not pay any fees but received the same benefits that other patrons can get. This is not fair. Last month in my 6 fanart challenge (https://www.patreon.com/posts/36713232 ), a commenter cancelled patronage after I gave him fanart icon. The icon was originally a gift that my patrons could get, but the commenter got it for free, I feel deceived!



Secondly, some people of the patrons who quickly cancelled patronage after subscribed may have leaked my paid work. After my post Curran's Gift was be leaked, I found the person who upload my limited work on E-hentai, his email is the same as the email of one of my former patron, and that patron did not actually pay me the patronage (https://www.patreon.com/posts/33621188 ). This thing is ringing an alarm for me, I have been worried about the benefits of my patrons damage due to leakage.

Finally, I am planning a new reward method. Last month, my 6 fanart challenge (patreon version) was successful, it gave me an idea of setting a monthly benefit to let me create the fanart pictures of: characters who lack fanart/ the characters from low-profile games or animes/ the popular character my patrons love but I never draw it. I hope this benefit post can satisfy my patrons and allow me to provide rewards for them during the month that I have not good inspiration. I also create free pictures but hope my patrons get more. If I change the charging method to up front charge, I will not have to screen the nominers in this post.

I will change the charging method in 15 Jun, 2020, 00:00(+8:00 GMT) and suspend sending the pictures packages password to the patron who started to subscribe in June. You can get the password after 15 Jun. Before that, please my new patrons consider whether to continue to subscribe me.

I run my Patreon creator account under a half of year and I am getting familiar with this website. I am sorry for the inconvenience becaused my unskilled management, I just consider it from a security and preventive point of view, not to doubt my existing patrons, thank you for your sincerity, please interact with me more, I want to create more works for you. thank you for your understanding and support!

        首先，過去的幾個月裡，有一些訂閱者在訂閱、保存圖片甚至我索取圖包密碼後就立即取消了訂閱，按照目前的收費方式要到下個月初才會收費，所以實際上我並沒有獲得贊助金。這對我還是對其他贊助人來說很不公平。比如上個月的6 Fanart Challenge(Patreon訂閱者限定)中，就有一個評論者在得到頭像圖標後取消了訂閱，實際上他當月並沒有付到贊助金(如下圖)。我覺得我被騙了，憑什麼別人花錢訂閱才享受到的福利你就可以免費白嫖了呢？→https://www.patreon.com/posts/36713232

       其次，我的部分收費圖包很有可能因此被洩露。年初，在我的付費帖子庫豹的禮物(Curran's Gift)和喬的浴室(In Bath Room)被公開地、陸續地洩露到其他網站上。我在Patreon發布的第一批作品就被完完整整地洩露了，我很痛心，感覺到自己遭到了背叛，並且之後的兩個月都沒有心情畫圖包。之後，我查到了E-hentai上最早的洩露者，其ID和郵箱與我的某個前訂閱者一模一樣。他就是訂閱後不久立即取消了贊助，因此我並沒有收到他應付的贊助金。此事為我敲響了警鐘，我一直以來都很擔心圖片洩露對我和訂閱者們造成的損失。→https://www.patreon.com/posts/33621188

       此外，我準備將上個月的6 fanart challenge這一點圖形式保留下來作為月常福利，去滿足我的訂閱者們，讓看到他們想看到的同人圖；在我沒有靈感畫圖包的月份，也能創作一些讓訂閱者感到滿足的作品(雖然我也會創作用於公開的全年齡免費作品，但我覺得訂閱者們支付了贊助金卻沒有專屬福利，對我自己來說心裡很過意不去)。如果採用新的支付方式，就不必篩選已訂閱的提名人了。

        我將於本月15日凌晨開始改變收費方式，屆時，本月的新贊助人們會被收取費用。我會暫停向本月才開始訂閱的贊助者們發送密碼，直到更改完成。在此之前，請新主顧們考慮一下，我的作品是否值得贊助，在本月就被收費是否能被接受，然後做出決定。

       我開始經營Patreon還不到半年，還在熟悉這個平台，所以我很抱歉因為種種原因給您造成的不便。我只是出於安全和預防角度來採取措施，而不是想要懷疑我的現有訂閱者們。大家的支持對我來說有著非凡的意義，也是我未來的希望，請多與我互動，我想用更多的創作來回應各位的支持。最後，感謝各位的理解與支持！
