Statement About My Works in Patreon Being Reprinted

To my patrons and followers:

I am Kaidou, and I have to tell you one thing: on January 31 this year, the R18 pictures that I uploaded in Patreon were reprinted and uploaded to E-hentai, including two 5$ posts. This hurts my sponsors, and it is also a great disrespect to me. As this was the first time this happened, I failed to take some measures to prevent the theft of my artworks. I have warned the thief through a private message, and I don't know if he will delete my work from E-hentai.

Although this has happened before, the works at that time were all free, and only sporadic ones were reprinted.

Whenever my artworks are stolen and reposted on other websites, I am very sad, because I have not been able to get the praise and support I deserve. Seeing such things also makes me feel that I'm not respected as a creator and I will lose the motivation to create. In the past, I can always rekindle the motivation for creation when my free works were reposted. But this is the first time that I have experienced the theft of my paid works. I think this is a direct blow to my dignity as a creator.

Firstly, I run Patreon to support myself while enjoying creation of R18 fanart works. I am not wealthy, running for life and school, and my financial pressure is very high. I hope to make my life more decent through Patreon's subscription income.

Secondly, I think that managing my work at Patreon can prevent underage minors from viewing adult content, readers who do not like R18 works from accidentally browsing sensitive media, and preventing my work from being misappropriated. Only when I create and share my new artworks, The comments and compliments under general works and the subscription reminder of R18 pictures are my greatest comfort. These supports can really make me feel that I am not alone; this support is the motivation that encourages me to move forward in my dream of creation, and it is also a practical support to make my life better.

In this year, I will continue my creation. I know that everyone loves my artworks, and I will not stop there. But if this kind of situation happens frequently in the future, I may pause to update R18 works in Patreon for a period of time, and only publish general pictures and create R18 pictures for private use through commission. I do not want my labor and my patron's Sponsorship was ruined.

In the future, I will be more careful about uploading each post to reduce the probability of one-time theft and reprint of my artwork. I will also change the way I upload limited works instead of uploading pictures directly.
